Not much my leafy friend! The Sun; she makes me lazy! Seriously, I normally only read one novel per week, but since the heatwave started I've been reading 3 per week cos I can't be bothered to do anything in between shifts, other than lay on the grass and read... Well, I've done some drawings, but haven't gotten round to scanning them yet =')

I've got an idea for your competition actually, was going to start drawing it about 3 hours ago but, um, the time has gone... I've got another week or so, maybe the time will come around again... =')

It was funny enough when he did when he did that thumbs-in-pockets thing*, but then the various cheesy superimposed backgrounds kick in, and he starts dancing in the exact manner of Eddie Murphy when he's making fun of the way white men dance.

Oh, and I checked out your website, some good stuff on there, especially the life drawing. Have you ever considered becoming an animator? =')


* I have to admit that when I'm singing at church, when my hands aren't in the air, or grabbing at the hem of my t-shirt (because sometimes I just have to grab something), I do find my thumbs hooking themselves into my pockets. But no-one superimposes cheesy backgrounds. And I don't dance in a desperate attempt to be Mr GQ Smoove. That I save for Friday night.

Let me say "Good Afternoon" for two weeks ago. Let's see, 30th June... Oh yeah, that's the day I went to 2 Cedar Falls [link] gigs. (The only thing better than seeing one of your favourite bands live, is hearing them play an acoustic set, then a rocking electric set at another venue down the road =')

Um, okay, so I was going to write a really cocky reply about how my shins will never be yours, regardless of your zeal for shins, but... the more I think about it, the scarier the threat to my shins becomes...

No really, what do you want with my shins? I'd appreciate you allowing me to keep my shins - I am rather attached to them. More to the point, my shins are attached to me!

Do you mean to remove my shins for you collection? Please tell me it's less drastic than that: That I get to keep my shins but may find you uncomfortably fixated on them whenever I'm in the vicinity.

I have a very wide and impressive collection of shins from all over DA...they're such an underrated bodypart and no one seems to notice them. When was the last time you heard someone say 'oooh that guy has got awesome shins' or 'wow that girl's got hot shins!'

admit it, you never noticed your shins or took any care of them before I mentioned I might have to take them from you.

I think you would find - if you were to observe me carefully - that I often take the time to stroke my shins. Down-strokes, always down-strokes. Up-strokes agitate them severely and cause nervous twitching betwixt knee & ankle.

So you may not add my shins to your collection, but if you are pleasant, I may allow you to stroke them (down-strokes only, please).
