He probably wouldn't even eat it, but the manager would think he did. He felt kind of bad, accidentally lying to them like that. He didn't want them to worry about it.

◆◇ He got shaken out of his thoughts soon, though, as he looked at the 'girl' by him. " Thank you for your offer, though. " This person.. smelled strange. He wondered if that had any significant meaning- it probably did, but he didn't have time to think about that.

Maybe holding onto the back of the train-seat had something to do with not falling frill-clad-ass over pink-haired head. "Ah, it's just that you seemed so lonely on this train all by yourself ..." And then, with a small smile that was upon his face like a malicious, cream kitten's smirk when it killed a bird; he leaned in so he could whisper something. "I can smell that on you, brother. You smell like one of us, so what do you say ? Wanna cut the pretense and talk ?"

Was the other going to try and eat him ? He rubbed his arm a bit, the fabric of his uniform sticking to his slightly sweaty palm just a bit. " ..Are you.. ? " He trailed off, about to ask if the other was going to kill him- but decided it better off not to ask. His stomach growled a bit- god, he was hungry. He licked his lips a bit, more out of instinct than anything. In fact, he hadn't noticed he had done it even after he had.

Fume was an ... Odd one, even by ghoul standards. He did not target ghouls specifically, rather he felt that a chat was in order whenever he came across one. Call it morbid curiosity or the want to connect with his roots, whatever; but the bottom line of the matter was that he didn't like competition and liked to keep a good log of the ghouls he came across in his zone.

 Nonetheless, he met the boy's worries with a little smile. His true nature seeped through the shroud of lace and frills and pink with an underlying deviousness uncommon to those of the human species. "Am I ? Is that word so taboo ?" He cooed, mirth evident in his tone. "As much as one as you are, I suppose. So brother, why are you licking your lips ? Are you hungry or do I just look tasty to you ?"

◆◇ Kaneki made his decision then and there, he didn't like this guy. He was creepy and even though he smelled nice ( nice as in he smelled like his mother's perfume ) and looked like a pretty girl, he was very scary. Kaneki couldn't shake the feeling that talking to this guy was putting him in danger, somehow. Also, why is he calling him 'brother' ? They aren't related, not as far as he knows. Then again, in the same kind of way, he felt safe with this stranger near him. If that made any sense. Can you be afraid of someone but still feel safe near them ?

◆◇ He guessed so, since that's how he felt. " ... I'm not your brother. Also, there is no way you are as much one as I am, you have no idea how much of one I am. " He wasn't sure nobody was listening, but he didn't want to risk saying the word just in case someone was listening or even just innocently over-heard. " I'm just hungry. I haven't eaten in a while. " He crossed his arms, looking ahead- rather than at the other near him.

◆◇ He hoped he got to his stop soon, he was starting to get a bit.. uncomfortable, you could say, around this guy.

He didn't eat ghouls. No, his diet excluded them because they did not fit into his criteria; he disliked the dismembering of ghouls because usually the limb grew back, and the upkeep was tiresome. He toyed with the idea here and there but ? It was only a fancy, but another fancy of his was to grab the boy's cheek and give it a good pinch, and a shake - much like an aunt at a family reunion who hadn't seen the pinchee in question for years, or perhaps a sister too overzealous in her teasing.

"Boy, you're so cute." He leaned in and pursed his lips, speaking as if he were talking to a puppy rather than a human - or ghoul - being. "And you don't want to talk to me ? Well, that's pretty fucking rude of you." He tugged the delicate flesh one last time and then let go. "So maybe lighten up and learn to talk with your kind ? You know humans aren't going to accept you." His voice hushed, the train continued rattling along its way, the tired passengers minding their own business and looking down at their objects of fixation; a phone, a newspaper, their feet. Fume had no worries.

◆◇ Kaneki let out a quiet growl. He tried to pull his face away- but alas, Fume's grip was too tight. He hated having his cheeks pinched- it was so irritating. When the other finally let go, he turned away from him. " You're not one of my kind. I'm not like you. " He huffed, crossing his arms. He was far too irritated to worry about a CCG member being around. What did it take to get rid of this guy ?

◆◇ He continued looking away from the larger-haired individual, staring out a window. He wondered if it was just him, or if the train ride to work had gotten longer. Maybe it was the hunger, or maybe it was being irritated by a cross-dresser ( who did cross-dress very convincingly ), or maybe it was a combination of the two. Either way, he just wanted to get to work. " You're irritating. " The words slipped out of his mouth, he didn't know he said them until after- and even though he shouldn't, he couldn't help but feel a little guilty. It's just that he had a bad experience last time a ghoul said they just 'wanted to talk'. Talking is probably a code word for 'Eating' in the Ghoul's world or something, who knows. Not him, that's for sure.

He couldn't help but laugh at this kid. A quiet, girly tittering like what you'd hear coming from the way-too-open mouths of the haughty bitch-girls who roamed the highschool halls looking to make the poorer or uglier kids suffer with their nasty sneers. He covered his mouth as he did this, hiding his pearly teeth, keeping them shielded between partially splayed fingers; this kid was too much. Did he seriously fucking expect that he'd fit in with the humans or something ? That what ? A ghoul can go about without some schtick keeping them afloat ? 

"You'll just die if you keep thinking like that, lil' brother." His tone lost the sharp, bubbly edge to it. Rather, he betrayed his gender with this sudden shift in tone. It would have been very, very dangerous if he wasn't so close to Kaneki and he didn't keep his voice low; but then again, the CCG ? The cerebrally-challenged-gerbils ? Yeah, he didn't have them on his mind right on that instant. He was too busy poking fun at this little self righteous fuck-up, this little one-eyed idiot, this guy who Fume thought had it stuck in his head that he was somehow better than him. 

"I've been told that. Better than being eyeless." Nice remark, shitstain.
