Aw, you won't end up in the snake pit. There is some crap here that people palm off as a deviation so don't worry about anything. Your photos are fantastic!

lol i hope so... as i said i'm getting there slowly... and most of the photos i've put up aren't the best i've got... i've gotta get some of my nature ones scanned in so i can show a little more of there is...so far these are the pick of the bunch i guess... i just hope they're good enough to make me able to work at a professional standard, that would be awesome.

When you touch them up (well, the ones you need to anyway) you should add a black border around them, 
And hey, you've got to start somewhere and I'd say you're off to a great start!

lol well we'll see... when i was printing these images onto paper in the darkroom, the most effective border was a white border... it made the edges crisp and sharp, and it just made it more complete and stood out more.... i'm working on touching up the ones that need it, but without photoshop it's diffictult... but yes i'm off to a start, but a great start i'm not too sure... least i have something to work with lol

lol that's so cute... it looks totally tiny and soft hehe... but that is a good photo. a lot of the time you'll find that what you take as a joke or just mucking around turns out to be the best photos... while composition is important, it's also good to just go with the flow and go 'click click click' so to speak... they capture something your eye isn't quick enough to see

lol not so much wise... just lucky maybe... most of the photos i've taken i've felt i fluked... but then again i don't feel like i work hard enough on images either... slightly perfectionist, which is an old habit... but i'm just speaking from what i've found with photography... it's much more fun to use yoru feelings than you knowledge
