i speak 3 languages- english, german and polish of course ^^ i learn english for 7 years and german for 4 yrs. my general problem is grammar, but i know lots of words ; )

I'm american so enlgish but i'm not anything like the british people. the big thing now is that there are a lot of mexicans coming to america. So a lot of schools teach spanish. I took four years of that in high school. i try learning russian but it's difficult to learn on your own.

in poland we have 6 years of elementary school, next we have 3 yrs of gymnasium, then 3 yrs of high school- so, now i'm in the 1'st class of high school ; ) in next year, in september i'll be in the 2'nd.

ok so that compares to kindergarten (which is basically grade 0) then 1st grade through 4th which is a total of 5 grades. then, junior high wich is a total of 4 years. finishing with four years of school. 9th grade is freshman year. 10th is sophomore. 11th is junior. 12th is senior year. then you graduate high school. i think that adds up to one more year than you.

i think kindergarten is extra for us because most people are 18 when they graduate here.
