Gah! For my lateness... did you figure it out? Just wanna double check... just in case if you go to the deviantart icon on the top left hand corner there should be a drop down arrow and one of the selections should be groups. If you click on it you can search for groups... if you want to post it on your profile simply put :icon: and it will show up...
