Heya, thought this one could interest you since you participated in previous FGE art collaborations
KOF 20thAnniversary: Art Tribute CollaborationBeside the 20th Anniversary of the Tekken series in December 2014, there is also the 20th Anniversary of the King of Fighters series.
This series started in August 1994 with the big feature that it combined new characters with the most popular ones from Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting and the protagonists from Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldiers as well.
New was also the Team-Mode which became a trademark for KOF. Instead of one character, the player got to choose three of them. Like Kyo, Benimaru and Goro Daimon or Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi etc.
The King of Fighters series is not so popular anymore but damn....we had a great time playing the games or?
If you see it similar and you would like to participate in an art tribute of the King of Fighters series, comment here. I was unsure about this but after over 10 artists showed their interest after a few uptime hours of this journal it was sure that there is still enough interest in KOF to get a damn nice Art Collabo

Hi, RH here from FGE, one of the dA groups you submitted something to lately and the biggest and most active fighting game related group here on dA as well.
We have an art contest ongoing about everything Capcom with the exception of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers since everyone and his mother drew Ryu, Chun Li or Morrigan already and we like to give other not so popular games from them like Rival Schools, Star Gladiator and all their beat'em ups some spotlight!
Capcom Series Art Contest! (Jan-Feb 2014!)This year it was all about the Samurai Shodown fighting games during Januar-Februar, in 2014 it is going to be a Capcom Celebration Contest of their many Fighting Games and Beat'em Ups with the EXCEPTION of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers since both of these series have a ton of fan art already and we try to get those other games and characters in the spotlight on FGE!
The Prizes are
25β¬ (around 30$) OR a 12 Month deviantART Premium Account for the 1st Prize
10β¬ (around 13$) OR 3 Month deviantART Premium Memberships for the 2nd and 3rd winners

This is a great idea, though I dont see how limiting it to non-SF/DS artwork and yet allowing it for MVC would be any different 
I will try to make a Star Gladiator and/or X-Men Children of the Atom pieces

The difference is that if SF would be a llowed there would be a good couple of cammy, ryu, chun li images with them alone, something like a chun li image now with the hint in the description that she was in mvc would not count, instead something like Chun Li vs. Dr Doom as example or at least chun li in a drawn mvc background or at least doing one of her moves from the mvc series would had to be done
Something Star Gladiator related would be very cool, in the last year i saw maybe 5-7 new fan arts for the game, something x-men cota related would be cool too
