# About me
I find it hard to describe myself without sounding too factual or formal, so I'm just going to go with that and say: I'm currently studying for a BA in Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth, specialising in detailed penwork and realism with graphite. At the moment my work is turning towards the fantasy genre, with my main influences being my favourite novel series His Dark Materials and my favourite video game series Bioshock, with the creation of an illustrated storybook tentatively named Paradise. As a would-be/hopeful writer my dream would be to write a novel which I would also illustrate myself, and/or to work towards creating my own video game in a similar vein to Bioshock or art games such as Child of Light or LIMBO. That all being said my influences and style tend to change constantly so who knows what I will want to do in a year's time!# Comments

Thanks very much for the favorite. I've just had a quick browse through gallery and I must say I really like the style you employ in "Open your Mind", "Into the Forest" and "The bearded Horseman", especially how you move from macro- to microstructure!

that's ok aw thank you, I do think I've found my niche with that style now so I'm trying to push it as much as I can! I favourited your Rapunzel work as, being a fan of intricate B&W work, I really liked the use of negative space and perspective - how the scene is captured from below. It's great to see how others employ these techniques as I find it difficult to arrange my compositions in a more subjective way... hopefully if I manage to do that, you will like it even more!

Good luck with pushing your skills! I find looking at the classics works. Egon Schiele is brilliant for compossition references (especially his landscapes), Charles Rennie Mackintosh, too. But IΒ am sure you' ve got your own idols already .
