You don’t need to remember who I am (we didn’t talk much) but I still think of you sometimes and hope you’re finding good things in life. Your words always inspired me to write more honestly - sent me off on a path of healing through writing out my own wounds - and I never thanked you. I really wanted to thank you. if i do my chem project right, i could actually parallel a set of themes common to your work. it's a good feeling.

introduction i picked this topic because i love referencing poets to an almost spam-like degree & because ever since i befriended this vertebral boy i've been considering taking a degree in poetic dentistry and becoming a denture slam poet for a career
also on a somewhat unconnected note i am so everywhere i should probably at least attempt to show some restraint hahaha whoops

hahaha so then apparently i have succeeded in using chemistry to do something productive. no-one's gonna believe this
we had a surprise chem test on corrosion the other day & i wish quoting your poetry would've been a valid answer, seriously.
also apparently i cannot even do decay sums anymore without feeling like it's some sort of joke i'm in on
the chem project itself is the analysis of different soft drinks, which probably sounds like a middle school project except i had to actually conduct all the tests myself? and detect the presence of a ton of different things. it was actually sort of fun, which doesn't make any sense because chemistry kinda terrifies me.
with regards to my new career option, my dentist would be incredibly thrilled, because he decided to become a dentist after he got braces during his childhood & then realized what sort of scientific innovation goes into them? so it'd be like, a chain of inspired dentists trying to remove the dentistry stigma and make waiting rooms a better place i don't know
