# About me
I am a wife and mother of two lovely autistic sons. I have had little time for art in the last twenty years and it feels very good to return to drawing on a regular basis.I have had no formal training, except for a ninth grade art class more years ago than I care to admit.

Hello Courtney, if that is your name... I replied your comment before checking out your work. I am not sure, after seeing the work in your gallery how much official training you had, but I am absolutely certain that you are incredibly talented. I have been a teacher for a good few years, teaching graphic design and art direction in F.I.T. in NYC, and if there is one thing I am convinced about when it comes to identifying raw talent, and despite my understanding as a young artist - that is when I was young - that education and training adds depth and ultimately JOY - no two ways about that. To strive to be creative is one thing, and there you are free to go whichever way you like, including ditching training altogether, but to have impact on others through your creativity, that takes KNOWLEDGE as well as intutition. So, I don't know where you stand on the matter, but I see a lot of potential in your work, and if you hone it systematically, you will have real power! Β
