No, I haven't seen LMI yet, I can wait for the DVD.
I'm not boycotting it but I still feel overly protective of the original and being anti-remake in general want to hold out as long as possible.

Same here, but I'm still intrigued as to what the interpretation's like. Chances are, yes, it won't be anything to write home about, but I'm just curious as to how it may turn out. Oh well, its run just ended at my closest theatre so it's better off I give it a rent when it releases. And thank you very much! I appreciate it.

Hey, did you see the interview with Lina and Kare from the Empire Awards? I mean it's the first time I've personally heard them speaking English in an interview (maybe I'm late to that party), and Kare obviously has his own opinion of the American remake.

Even though he has grown taller, he is still a child and I can forgive him for blurting out his thoughts unthinkingly. There are plenty of adults on the board who think that way as well. We'll have to wait for the release, who knows, he may be right!

Just trying to maintain a site here lol. I'm not that much of an artist IMO, I just do some casual stuff here and there alongside some writing I do when I get bored or overly expressive.
Actually, I just receieved the UK Blu-ray of LTROI today on import and am enjoying it, as well as the English commentary track. I'm seeing new things I haven't seen before thanks to the higher resolution, such as how unnaturally large Lina's eyes and pupils seem to be distorted. Something tells me those aren't how her eyes really look.
