Yep, I can finally scan and color some of the drawings I did a while back before my computer broke...it'll take my mind off of pottermore. haha.

Oh that's awesome, congrats! (on the house, not the unpacking) I always hated unpacking, you can never find anything. I've been baking, it's really really fun. I made my little sister eat so much deserts its so funny. She even said after friday you can not bake anymore. I don't want to be fat!! I also start school next week, I'm soo excited

Yeah baking! I am also currently banned from baking. Apparently four layer cakes, 8 dozen cookies, 4 cobblers and a pie in three weeks was a bit too much for my honey to tank...I told him he was weak, lol.

I'm glad you're excited for school! I didn't get accepted this year (granted I only applied to one school and got wait-listed, lol) so I'm a little bummed. I'm thinking of learning German to make myself feel better.

Can't wait to see your new stuff!

...that's all? Damn he IS weak. I made 15 dozen sugar cookies, and 4 dozen chocoalte chip cookies, 4 pies (2 chocolate silk and 2 apple pies), 2 four layer chocolate cakes, with lady fingers, dulce de lech, chocolate dipped strawberries in the span of 1 week got me band from baking period. (people in my family have high blood sugar other then me)

I made a Fruit tart today it looks very pretty. Not so sure about the taste :/ but hey looks is 50% of it all XD.

Mhm, I've been looking forward to it all. Good luck on the german

Is it bad that I just started drooling? And now I wasnt something sweet really bad! Lol. You should tell them that at least you weren't making sugar free treats because those things flush out your system! (Granted its only if you eat A LOT of them but still...)

I can't bake tarts very well. I always manage to mess them up! I hope yours is delightful!

Colouring is always the worst part. Inking just can't even compare to the tedium of colouring an image, lol.

The one I made taste alright, I wasn't so happy with it. Though it looked very nice. lol, people liked it though. How do you mess them up?

Not a bad effect to have lol! And you can alter them but I like them better sugary!
They always end up looking AWFUL. Taste good though...guess its a trade off.

Colouring something on the computer takes me forever to do! I also can't just draw something on there and be happy with it. I tablet fail is what it amounts to. I'd rather traditionally do something and scan it in and do minor editing than spend 3 days trying to CG an image that's still gonna turn out like crap...so I bow before your ability to get anything done on one, lol.

lol, it really is.

I have no tablet, I color with a mouse. Coloring with markers and crayons and stuff like that...yeaaaa not so pretty. I mess up anything i've ever colored in person. Other in water colors, those were the best things I've ever done. Got to love drawing birds. XD I have issues drawing people. idk why. I bow down to coloring hands on hahah

Mmmm. Cookies! I only recently started making chocolate chip ones (not a chocolate person) and had to try a few different recepies to get ones that were just right. My first ones looked like little puddles of goo, lol. Apparently that has something to do with the shortening/flour ratio.

Holy crap. I don't have patience for mouse work! Everytime I went over a line I'd start yelling because I also didn't have the accuracy to erase it properly. don't wory about feeling like you've messed up something you traditionally colour. I still feel like I ruin most of my things yet I post them anyway (or maybe I should be telling you not to be like me? Hmmmm) and end up liking them eventually. I hate when copy toner or line ink gets sucked up by my markers. Makes everything darker and sloppy. Boo!

And I can't paint. I just fail at it. Have you had any training with paints? I understand that watercolours are some of the most diffucult to work with. I've never practiced drawing things other than people so whenever I try its BAD. Cosmically bad. Sometimes I burn the images bad, lol.

Yea I do that too, and since my windows vista kept freezing on me I would lose 70% of all the work I would do. My patience for that goes to hell and I end up doing whatever. I color like an 8 year old =_= that's how bad I color. I even try to follow my sisters style...It doesnt end up looking nice

The only training I've ever had in coloring was in my art classes, in middle school and highschool (2 classes, we needed art to pass). In middle school I learned the most, my art teacher was amazing and I got into making rather impresive drawings of birds (because I'm a horrible people drawer and I make you look deformed) where I later butchered in coloring them. The water color was nice because I like red and black and I was concentrating very hard, still looked tensed and a tad rough but it was nice. I liked it, I got an nice grade on that.

Vista is evil. When thinking about it I am often reminded of the Scene in 'Meet the Robinsons' where the dinasaur says "I have a big head and little arms. I just don't know how well this plan was thought out." <----Ie Vista.

I wish I had the patience to learn animal anatomy. I just can never bring myself to do it. Ah well, now I have to go butcher a commision because the person wants it painted via watercolour. *sigh* -.-

Yes, yes it is =_=. I am now using Linux mint, much faster then vista doesn't give me any stupid problems. I love that t-rex ahh so fucking funny.

I can't draw fur, I suck at it. I like making birds though hehehe, they are pretty and very simple. Lmfao, water color is difficult I wish you the best on it though, I'm sure it'll come out very nice.
