Howdy (-: I actually consider myself to be really terrible at character design which is why I primarily do fan art, ahahaha..

But when I do work on my own projects, I usually create the personality first. Most of the time someone's personality dictates the way they walk, talk, and look and that can help with the actual physical design.

ex.  someone shy would usually be drawn with hair that partially covers their face, they usually hunch over a bit and don't wear bright colors. 

Generally if I can't quite get a look right or if I create a look that I like better, I usually switch the character personality around a bit to work better. Also, facial expression and posture do a lot to bring a character to life!

Idk that any of that helps much at all. You can also easily just go on google to look up images of hair and clothing styles if you're stuck on stuff like that.

I actually really think your character designs are great. I really love your CP character Syd. And this helped a lot so thank you so much. I mainly use google but sometimes I just want a certain design that I don’t know the name for, haha.

Well, thank you! I think Syd is pretty basic, I just wanted someone easy to draw so I stuck a basic black sack over his dumb face lol.

But having a basic design is a good thing, or so I hear. I try to keep my designs simple but it just feels too plain sometimes really. Just wonderings, sorry if I missed something, but do you have other CP characters or is Syd your only one?
Also don't say that Syd is a beautiful man, haha.

Plain is easier if you draw them a lot. Like complex characters for comic drawing would be terrible. But if you usually just make one really nice picture at a time, I suppose it would be cooler to have a more interesting appearing character.
 
I got a few characters I threw together for that comic, but it's been abandoned so I wouldn't really consider any of them valid anymore. Got a soft spot for Syd so I can't completely throw him away, lol. . . but everyone else I am choosing to ignore for the time being.

If it's free hand, I use the G Pen. Width depends on the size of the canvas for this pen.

If I use the bend tool (which I use most often for precise lines) I use it at a width of three.

Free handing with the G Pen creates the best look, I think, but it takes longer to make the line right so I sacrifice the tapering for easier precision.

The settings I use are 100% Opacity, Middle Anti-Aliasing, and 6 for stabilization.
In vector layers I use 100% Opacity, Strong Anti-Aliasing, 100 for stabilization, and the Vector Magnet on 20.

I'm not really great at drawing with this :-> this is kind of just what I ended up putting the settings at. So I'd check out some other people's recommendations.

I do use Clip Studio! It's a really good program, if you're looking for one I highly recommend it.
They often have 65% off sales around big holidays, so I say wait until one of those comes around otherwise you'll drop $200+ on it o-:

I use MediBang it is free and practical, I also CLIP STUDIO PAINT but I have trouble using it because I do not master it, I got it for free when I bought an INTUOS COMIC WACOM.

Oh I see! Well, whatever you like to use is good :-9 it definitely took some time to learn how to use clip studio and I still only know the basics. Over time you learn more and more about the product

No problem, I made Part 2 but I accidentally deleted, so I gotta retype again, anyways in part 2 

it's about Cross Eyes' rival, which it was Jeff the Killer. So in art class the students are painting their teacher, as Cross Eyes finished painting went away, Jeff diced to paint over Cross Eyes' painting, when Cross Eyes' returned with the Teacher, Cross Eyes' got a F and had to stay after class to clean up every chew up bubbles gums from under the desk. Later Cross Eyes found Jeff walking alone with a young boy with flowers crown. Cross Eyes was mad as grabbed Jeff's shirt, and about to punch his face when the young boy hold Cross Eyes fist and started to crushing his fist that made Cross Eyes let go of Jeff, then Cross Eyes punched into the young boy stomach, then he got angry, as letting go of Cross Eyes' fist then with one punch the young boy punch Cross Eyes' face as he went flying across the ground mashed into wall and into classroom. Cross Eyes started to fight against the young boy unlit the students came cheering the fight, Laughing Jack grabbed Cross Eyes' and the the young boy collars then lifted them up to stop the fight, he told them to stop acting like kids, and apologise to each other, Cross Eyes and the young boy apologies to each other and shake hands, L.J then told the students that they should be shame and got back to class. Then L.J told Cross Eyes and the young boy, to go see the nurse to fix up their injuries, so they did.
