I do accept them. Requests are considered when I'm between commissions. Always looking for more things to draw!

Can you draw Plastic man the superhero and Plastic girl the sidekick as stretchy and silly putty in your artistic style?

Cool Have you got any more Marvel themed pictures in the works?

I have a fairly long list of works on my "to do" list. Including a few Marvel pieces. I keep getting commissions for DC works, but I love Marvel as well. I have a Rockwell in mind for Spiderman that I should be working on at some point in the near future.

Sounds like you're keeping busy

I'm sure I've seen a Spider-man take on the Rockwell picture, but it would be interesting to see your take on it

Hey Jesse. How's it going? Not sure if you remember me or not but we had a few classes together with Washington. I was talking to Nicole Murray the other day and your name came up. She said your work was getting some recognition so I looked up your website. Excellent work! Anyway I recognized your Robin/Graduate piece in the Screeners group just now and thought I'd say hi. Hope you're doing well. Keep up the good work.

Of course I remember you Sean! Those were some of my favorite classes of all time. There is nothing quite like standing in a room creating things while everyone else creates around you. Washington has this intense personality that permeated the room, good music, sometimes brutal heat. That feeling in the pit of your stomach as the clock is ticking closer and closer to when the scene thaws.
Have you gone back? I did about a year ago...found two Tuesdays that I could drop in. He was the same, although slightly slower; His hips give him so much pain. If you haven't visited you should. I know he's plans on retiring soon. He gave me one of his sketchbook pages; that man can draw.

Those were definitely my favorite classes too. I miss being in the studio. I loved the competitive feeling he brought to the class. He always had a way of making people want to push themselves to impress him. I haven't had a chance to go back and visit, though I really should. I did take a few of my students who were planning on going there for a tour one Saturday. I wish it could have been during the week so I could have shown them what his classes are like. Though, come to think of it maybe dropping in on a life drawing class wouldn't have been quite appropriate for high school students. I'll have to make it a point to get out there before he retires. I'd love to come in and do some drawing. I haven't drawn a live model since college unfortunately. That's great he gave you a sketchbook page. I always loved when he would show us his stuff. It always blew me away.
