I'm out of the gaming circle completely I don't play them at all Kind of like you, I waited so long that I just lost interest. And I lost it at FF12! I love looking at the crazily intricate character designs the new ones have though. They look like real people x__x!! Amazing.

Yeah, I started my masters this year for architecture after taking a year off to work, so I feel like I'm in over my head with the workload, not used to it!! What about you? Still studying? It's nuts that when we met I was like 15, lol.

I agree. The video game industry has gone a long way with realism.

And masters?! Crazy! And for architecture too! Were you working in your field too? And I'm sure you will be fine. You just need to adapt and keep on moving forward. I'm sure eventually you will get used to the workload (no matter how stressful). If not, you can always relieve the stress by dusting off that old PS2 and play some video games. Haha!

Hmmm...if you were 15 I was...13. So it's nuttier for me.

It's really not all that impressive xD It seems as long as you did decently in the first degree you'll get in Yeah we need a year of experience in the "field" before we can continue with masters. But I had my one and only exam today, so I have a month free ! Of course I'm working but still... x) I should start playing again... I've been watching a lot of TV, which is like a step down from gaming because I'm not even thinking. But how's everything going with you?? Know what you're gonna do with your life??

I think it's pretty impressive. I thought about doing architecture stuff when I was a kid, but because of the math that is involved with it...I stopped going for it. But it's really cool that you're doing it, and wow a month free? What the heck are you going to do with your self?

I wonder if Austrian TV has some of the same shows from the U.S. ...what are you watching?

And everything is fine. As for school I am going into video editing/graphic design. I'm actually pretty good at it (the video stuff). I will be getting my AA for film/television after next semester. Then I plan on getting my BA. I am not sure if I would want to get my Masters though just because in the field you don't really need your Masters. Besides I'm already a Master in Pokemon. Haha!

But yeah. Honestly I don't believe it's something I want to do with my life, but it's a goal right now. It's something to do. And who knows? Maybe something will actually hit me later on. I'm not too worried about it, I got other stuff I am going through and trying to accomplish.

Ohh believe me all the math you need is simple geometry and you're good to go Seriously, as long as you know how to work out areas and angles you're fine! I'll be working during the break xD Lame.

Australia gets loads of US shows, especially CSI, NCIS etc. I've been jumping around shows like Bones and Castle, and I recently got into X-Files And now I'm reluctantly getting into How I Met Your Mother because my sister's a fan.

Waah, video film/TV stuff? That sounds awesome! You must be crazy good with computers then. It's a shame you're not sure you want to continue with it though, it sounds like fun, and also difficult. But yeah, if you don't need masters, screw it xD I have to do masters to become an architect, and even with masters I still need two years additional experience in the field before I'm eligible to take an EXAM and attend an interview, and then if I do well in all that THEN I can call myself an architect Gawd... and to be honest I think I'll lose interest by then, kill me now!

Haha I am I am!! I just used to think it was a dumb sort of show, and while I've since realised the error of my ways, I'm not yet ready to admit it to my sister (who insisted I try it ) Teehee... but yeah, I might do some NPH fanart soon now that I'm on holiday!!

I'm not too great at math either. I'm fine at the common sense stuff, like working out angles using sides (typical early high school stuff xD) but the ridiculous stuff like parabolas that serves no purpose in my life is a mystery to me and I don't care if it remains that way

Yeah, after working in a firm for a year I've discovered the boring side of architecture. Dealing with council, writing up tender documents, making sure there's enough space around a bathroom for people to move around, blah! It's a necessary evil I suppose. I'd rather stay at uni, designing hypothetical buildings I'm a total fraud. It's going to suck after I graduate and still remain at the level I'm at right now, which is the unglamorous-sounding role of "Architectural Assistant", doi. It just seems to thankless, and architects reach the peak of their career at about 80 or something anyway...

Hahaha I hate parabolas...I hate them...so...very...much. That was one of the things I hated the most in College Algebra. I was ready to shoot myself by the end of that unit. But yeah, I get what you're saying. Common sense stuff, yeah I get it. Logic.

Lol!! Enough space around a bathroom? My. I know it isn't that funny, and it's actually a good thing that you guys make sure of that...but it sounds funny still. Weird question, but do you guys only take the average size of a person in mind or do you guys consider big people and little people too?

Oh and the main character in HIMYM is an architect...IS THAT WHY YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THE SHOW NOW?!! Hahaha!

But I think you'll be fine...just keep working at it! Or do what most of the architects I know do. Stop designing buildings and stuff, and start their own comic books.

Are you kidding, of course I've seen Dr Horrible! Lol, I saw some clips when I got into Castle with Nathan Fillion who plays Captain Hammer, and then I went and watched the whole thing when I got into HIMYM and realised Barney was Dr Horrible xD Have you seen the DVD commentaries and extras?? They're awesome!

We have the typical person in mind, but I suppose you still take into account big and little too, like toilet paper holders can't be too far from the seat so the smallest person can get at it xD There's certain standards already laid out for each country so luckily we don't have to think, we just have to look at the book and follow.

Ahhh!! Haha, so many of my non-architecture friends were telling me to watch HIMYM just because Ted's an architect He's a hilarious architect though, and very stereotypica! The guy doesn't even seem to own a computer! You can't be an architect without a computer dude. Wah, what architect started their own comic book?

Dude, if you love Nathan Fillion, watch FIREFLY. Seriously. It's probably my favorite TV show of all time (Unfortunately, it was canceled after 14 eps.). Look it up online, download it, buy it, do whatever you have to, just watch Firefly! There's a movie based off it too called Serenity. Watch that too. Just do it!

Yeah that makes sense. Haha! Another reason why I can't be an architect, I would purposely design the tolite paper far away just to play jokes on people...even though I would probably get fired before I can do something like that. I dunno haha! But good to know there's a book for those kinda things. Haha!

And I'll bet. I knew I was only adding on to the whole "Ted the architect" thing. He owns a computer...you just don't see it often...at all! Only in certain eps, and flashbacks. Haha!

Reeeeally? I downloaded Firefly and Serenity for my sister a few months ago because she likes Buffy and thought she'd give the creator's other stuff a go (she's just as sad as you that it ended so soon), but it seemed too Stargate for me xD My love for Fillion isn't strong enough for me to venture into TV genres I don't generally like But do you reckon it's still worth a shot?

Doesn't Ted own a laptop? I think I've seen him use a laptop, but he uses the touchpad, and there's no way you could work a CAD program efficiently using the touchpad. Is it even called a touchpad? Hahaha! I have seen all of the eps actually. And psh...w/e. Firefly rules! It's one of the very few TV show that got me so captivated. And yeah I can see what you mean it looks like Stargate, but I have watched both (And I'm not keeping up with the new Stargates any more) and I can see the difference (this is why I am a true nerd).

And damn. I think that would be funny to tell a future employer.

Them: "So you got dismissed from your last assignment? How come?"
Reply: "I put the toliet paper too far away..."
Them: "..." >_>;;;
XD Come on! It'd be a funny situation and you know it!

And he owns a Mac desktop computer in one of the eps I saw, not sure what kind but I think it's one of the G5 towers. I saw him with a laptop too...there is an ep where you see his office...but I don't think his office has a computer. ._.

I just feel as though my old account represented the old me I suppose. I have changed all of my s/n from nolable721 to Crypt/Crypster/Crypt whatever for a while now. So I figured it was time to get rid of the old and start with the new.

That and my old account had a lot of artwork that isn't really my style any more.
