I tried to disable comments on long while back on my old account, unfortunately, it isn't possible :c However, suggesting it to DeviantART would be very nice, after all, if you can disable comments on art, why shouldn't you be able to disable them on your profile? Tell her to make a thread here asking for an option to disable comments: support.deviantart.com/forums/… And then have her link it to you and me and everyone else she knows in a journal to get support to bring attention to the idea. ^_^ That's all I can think to do, really, since it's not a feature.
