they're for opencanvas1.1, but
it's essentially the same thing as
photoshop.
anyway, i don't have 7.0, just 6.0,
but it's pretty much the same.
i'm not really sure what you need
to know, but i'll try and help as
much as i can. ^^
you would start by drawing your
picture, just the lines, on a blank white
canvas in photoshop. then when you
need to start coloring it, you go to the layers window. if you don't see the layers window,
go to Window> View Layers on the
toolbar at the top. once you have
your layers window open, go to Layer>New>Layer on the toolbar
at the top of the screen. this gives
you a new layer. but, if you start coloring
on this layer the way it is now, then
it will cover up the black lines you drew
earlier. so, we have to change the layer
mode first. we do this by going to
the drop-down menu on the layers window.
it should say "Normal." change it
to "multiply" mode. now you can
go over the black lines and it won't cover
them up. color with the paintbrush
tool, and when you want to do shading,
do it on a new multiply layer with a
brush that has 0% hardness.

once you already understand photoshop's
tools and everything.
