Really love your work! Very interesting
With a great cultural resonance
Just missing a work on Kali-Arnis
(I practice myself and find both the system and its culture and history deeply interesting)
Looking for more

I came across your copyright infringement story about your Vector of Pacquiao and am really sorry to hear that it happened.
I'm trying to build awareness about the infringement that happens every day to artists...and I wanted to see if i could post your story on my company's website.
If you would like to send me a paragraph outlining what happened, I can feature this on our website. **I can also use what you posted on BakitWhy.com because it explains the situation very clearly.
The idea is to make people aware that:
- Infringement does happen,
- Help artists understand how to protect their work
- Give artists suggestions of what to do if their work has been stolen
- Make people aware that using someoneβs work without permission is stealing (it's amazing how many people don't understand this concept).
Please donβt hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
talk soon,

Woop i love cowboy bebop too
have had a look at your stuff. I've been here before. . . I don't know if I made myself known when I did view your gallery in February/March whatever it was. I don't have anything digital to show ya in terms of Babayin. I've tried my hand a little with pencil but I didn't get very far and I wouldn't want to subject you to it. Haha.
I am pretty excited to see you scribble my tattoo in ancient script
woohoo! thanks for the mail- Hannah Dayea Catahan

Aw man, I'm hella excited, working on this piece with you! Recent events have me re-inspired, and specifically, I want to design an alibata piece for myself to get inked. Anyways, I started sketching glyphs last night... please believe, the sexiness is outstanding :-D
However, using the non-spanish-modified glyphs, the string is already 16 characters long. How/where were you planning on getting this inked? Paragraph style? Vertical wise? Around your waist like a belt? Let me know; it might help in the development of the characters.
Btw. Is Banksy as UP in the U.K. as people say he is? Or does he get buffed on the regular???
Rock nights with brown rice,
~David

Yo, thanks for the comments. I know its been a while but if you're still wondering, the Soto Yards are at the train tracks near 8th St and Soto, in East LA. Yards are always hot.

I decided to deviantwatch you. this bathala project you got going on is mad interesting. i've never seen anyone work with alibata in their graff. it reminded me of this documentary i watched on the graff scene in japan and a writer said most japanese writers prefer to write in the roman alphabet over katakana/kanji. when'd you start messing with alibata?

Thanks for taking note. I first saw alibata at a mafa workshop a couple of years ago (mafa is a midwest filipino-american conference fil-am college orgs). It's only been recently that I actually started integrating it into my "works"... I'm really inspired by los angeles hand styles, which are rooted in cholo script and gang graffiti. Other influences you should check are Retna (AWR MSK Seventh Letter crew) and Usugrow. Their calligraphy/handstyles are insane! Thanks for checking, I'll have a new alibata work soon to post...
