The season 5 finale of Steven Universe seemed quite definitive, so I'm not sure where they can reasonably go next; I read there is a movie coming out this year, so perhaps there are still different avenues for the show to explore, in spite of the seemingly most crucial plot threads receiving decent closure.
On a different note, quite a few new Gem and Fusion designs were in the finale; the Obsidian one in particular looked worthy enough to be from your own artistic genius.

Have you seen the reveal of White Diamond, if so, what are your thoughts?
Mine are that there is too small a sample size to make a judgment of her character overall, however, the brief glimpse was aptly imposing and dazzling.
A reason I liked White's design is that she looks like she could've been created by you.

Are you up to date on Steven Universe? I must say, as of now, that was one hell of a twist! I rather liked it because I didn't expect it and it was quite clever.

To digress, I'm glad you like the reveal, too!
The twist certainly makes Pearl more sympathetic - not that she wasn't before. Although, it originally seemed like she was a jealous, overly needy fangirl, yet with the new information, her envy and frustration become far more understandable: she was forced to hold the heaviest burden, yet was given nothing that Rose didn't express for everyone else, and then - in her mind - was disregarded when Rose found a simple human more interesting. Pearl may have been neurotic in the first place, but being alone with such a secret would emphasise anxiety to the brink.
The revelation does flip the entire ethical code of the Crystal Gems; I think Steven and co will probably be able to resolve the dilemma and the Gems will feel that their principles are still true, even if the origins were from dubious reasons at best.

I can understand that. Yellow Diamond just emanates gravitas! And the song to Blue Diamond was amazing - I liked that it was ambiguous (in my opinion, anyway) whether Yellow actually cared about Pink Diamond or was merely manipulating Blue, or both. Either way, it added further depth to her character.
