lol. I've recently found coloring in photoshop to be a pain in the rear... my computer needs more RAM XD since the files I'm coloring are like, 2000 pixels by 1800 but it makes for a nicer job *suddenly melts*
aww man, I can't wait to go to Japan! I need to get some more Jpop! (listening to "UVERworld" song "colors of the heart" and some of the vocals are swoon material XD but I love their other song "D-Tecnolife" and the translation ^_^)

I really want to go to Finland or, right now, the USA.

Not because I particularly have an interest in the USA.

But because Sonata Arctica just added headline dates in USA, as well as their dates supporting nightwish!!!

I want to move to Finland once I'm qualified.

If I manage to achieve getting through English and getting a PHD and finishing the creative writing under or postgrad then I'll move there and just write books. Writing books is my dream...

If I get one done before then it'll help it along but I don't know if that's going to happen...

lol. I suppose you just have to balance the want of that job with putting in the effort to achieve it to your best of your ability...
on that note, I apparently got the highest mark in the term 1 project for IPT (computer class, for the year above me) since they started the course! 90%! pretty good for a year 10 student XD (the course is for year 11's, but I was told I could probably do it this year instead of my old computer course - I'm not complaining XD!)

I don't know... writing has been my dream ever since I was small. I was writing stories from when I was tiny. Albeit not very great stories, but you know... and Salamander is such a very very personal creation...

lol! that banjo thing made me think of a radio station here that had a whole orchestra of yukalalees in their studio can't take a yukalalee seriously now... XD

Yeah, I've been writing stories since I was at least in year 2, so probably ever since I learned to write stories XD. My current project though (the Dreaming Heart / Dream Catchers one, I have a heap of character pix in my gallery ^^) has been going on for about 3-4 years... but I'm getting there. And I really should get around to doing those sketches of Salamander for you! Have you made any changes to the way you think he looks?

Really he looks sort of the same. In essence... but... I decided to drag him through into present day instead of fantasy. Don't ask why/how that happened... it kind of just did without me noticing. I've rewritten everything. The stuff I mailed you only exists in the "previous drafts" folder now.

Oooh, I actually pictrued him in Russia for a while...

He'll probably just end up in good old england since I know it well.

I toyed with having him of Russian descendance though...

And yes he did have a little thing for trenchcoats too. He kept going on and on and on whineing for a trench coat... don't know if I'll give him one or not

Well, predominantly dark. He has this little habit of not considering it necessary to do buttons up right the way if you get me. Hmmm... I picture him in dark trousers, not tight but not too baggy either. Similarly with the shirt.

Think Tuomas Holopainen meets Marko Paasikoski and gets a bit combined?

ah, lol XD I got Metal Hammer a few weeks ago because of the Nightwish feature! *fangirl sigh* they all look so good in the photos! I certainly will enjoy looking up reference pix of Tuomas
I'll see what I can do about a sketch ^_^ I have study today, so I might be able to bat a few out, and it's the weekend tomorrow (for me anyway) so I can try and do some when I'm not doing homework

lol. This is my last year for doing it, thank goodness. And I only have half the lessons that the rest of my year does! so cool! I miss out on two of the four Geo lessons because of my higher computer class, which is on at the same time as a couple of Geo lessons

Personally I just spent most of the GCSE course laughing at the guys who'd chosen ICT because they had so much coursework. Textiles has it's fair bit, but at least it's enjoyable to do for the most part!

lol. It does but apparently the new headmistress is putting a new policy through that only year 12s can have iPods, and that they're only aloud in study! How stupid is that? We've been aloud to listen to them in Art and Computers without any complaints. Next thing you know, she'll start making the school sports bags or school bags compulsory. (I don't use the school bag because I keep leaving lunch in it I just use a messanger bag instead [I'm replacing it with a DA bag soon! It's in the mail with a fella plushie ] so that I put my lunch in my locker to dispose of at some point XD)
