i'll try, but i really can't think of one thing iv'e said i'd do and not give up on. oh wait! once, in fourth grade, i was playing by myself while my brother played little league at some high/middle school, when i found a tiny, yellow smiley face bouncy ball. so i was playing, and playing, when, all of a sudden, it jumped out of my hands, and bounced down the blacktop! so i went afterward, not to hasteful, because i had my eye on it, what could go wrong with a little walking? then a stupid poo-brained tweaked winged bratchnie of a seagul, flew down and picked it up in its mouth. at first i was astonished, but then i realized i may never see that happy little smiley face ever again.but then birdie landed, and dropped the ball. and i stood there laughing and before i could even think about trotting over and getting it, it picked it up and flew off again. and before my hopes could fall again it started to repeat that process over, and over. at about the fifth time, i put together a stradegy. i would creep up, little by little, but swiftly, and as soon as he drops it i'll chase him and make 'im fly away. and i did, and it worked! and i had that ball for a long time. it was hidden in my lamp! now it is gone. i cry. OFCOURSE, the whole process of getting my bouncy ball back was about 3 minutes. so i didnt really have time to think of giving up. so i might as well erase this whole " thought" and write, "thankyou for the comment." nah.
