You were so talented it amazed me every day!!Fuck you for dying!! We started Skeleton Krew to infect the world with our wared ideas and then everything went wrong. well, you died.....Asshole!!! We were supposed to be ecstatic right now as we looked over our empire and increasingly dominant market share. What kind of guy checks out while we weren't talking because of some B.S. argument!! I miss you so much and love you so much that we would have laughed at me until we got sick.
I'm sorry for all of my shortcomings and even more so that we don't get to discuss them any more'
Sean
We were the best of Friends....did you remember?

If you'd post your stuff a little larger... Say, 3000 x 5000ish pixels at 300dpi you'd find a lot of colourists coming your way!

I'd love to see your inks over the Spider-man piece. I really struggle with inking...it's such an art to making the correct "binary" decision. Just penciling for fun these days in my spare time. Keep up the good work...I'll be watching.

I'm glad you like it. It's so hard to come up with a pose that's original. I do a lot of figure drawing and I'm always experimenting with variations on exagerations. Some turn out much better than others. The connection between the rib cage and pelvis is a little wonky like you say. The overall balance feel pretty good to me and in the end I think that's what the viewers eye sees during a quick look. Feel free to correct anything you think is off...I personally think the inkers job is to make the art look as good as he possibly can. Whatever it takes. I find everyone sees anatomy a little different and some variations are more appealing than others. I still struggle with foreshortening and forced perspective...I think everyone does, even the greats. I often don't see my mistakes until much later which really sucks. Recently I've been doing a tri-tone pencil style where I stick to black, white, and 50% gray. This drawing is meant to follow that pattern which makes the inking an even bigger challenge. I don't ink digitally but it seems like there are a lot of great possibilities there. I use a hunt 102 nib and a Winsor Newton #1,#2, #3 and the mini versions of those brushes. Every time I pick them up I'm humbled. I look at someone like Glapion, Williams, Weems, or Friend and I'm at a loss for how they get their look. I've love what a good inker adds to a drawing. Finch's current work that he's doing in Manga Studio on Dark Knight really shows how much Richard Friend added to his pencils and he's got to be one of my all time favorite penciliers. Sorry for the long reply..thanks for your interest in my pencils and I'm very excited to see how it turns out.
