Here is a Bethlehem Car Works Pennsy Specific Baggage Express. Not sure if this is what he seeks but this is one I found right off the bat.

Yeah I'm looking, the only other horse express I see is the same car but with a built photo. Plenty in other scales like N (by Microtrains) but that's it.
Tell him about BrassTrains too, I THINK there might be a couple Coach Yard NYC Horse Express cars up but I could be wrong

Yep. Thankfully, my store is getting restocked as we speak. Still, I’m fed up with this panic.

You, me and anyone else in the world that has a shred of common sense. My store's shelves were still empty as of last night. But I'm not terribly worried about this. Yes it's a serious thing and I deeply sorry for all those already affected by it and those who will be affected. But seriously, what does a person need with 500 rolls of toilet paper? Are they expecting half the population to come down with explosive diarrhea because of this?
And you're absolutely right that the media is not helping matters at all. But that's what they do. Instead of actually helping the public, they're more interested in two things... number one, generating ratings and number two, bashing the President. Whether you love him or hate him, that's all the media is interested in. Otherwise they would not still be trumpeting already debunked talking points and they would be A HELL OF A LOT MORE CONCERNED about the basic flu which has already infected about 40,000,000 people this flu season in the US and killed somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000.
But let's go one step better. There are 340,000,000 people approximately in the US and we have right now about what... 4,000 maybe 5,000 cases of Coronavirus in this country. And there have been what... about 70 eaths in this country? And two-thirds of those are in Washington state. Yeah it sucks if that's where you live, but that's a hell of a difference from 20,000 flu related deaths. There are 7 confirmed Corona cases in the county where I live right now. I don't know how many flu cases there are in this county so far this flu season but I can promise you it's more than 7. My wife, my oldest daughter and I are among the flu cases.
And how many people are there in the world? Over 6 billion. How many Corona cases are there around the world right now? About 175,000 when I last heard, which was last night. And how many deaths around the world? About 6,500. It's serious but we're not facing the plague here.
People need to get a grip.

You're welcome. Also keep in mind that of those 175,000 cases of reported Corona all over the world, approximately 80,000 of them HAVE ALREADY RECOVERED!!! Did the numbnuts in the mainstream media miss this? Of course they did. They're all-in for the "end of days" syndrome. During my lunch break today I went to the grocery store to get some beef and potatoes (challenging, but not impossible right now). The paper products are still gone and people are still going nuts. Cases in point... I saw one guy that had about 20 bottles of vegetable oil in his cart, a lady with 5 cases of ketchup bottles and at least a dozen people wearing face masks.
Insert disbelieving groan of frustration here.
You watch. Here's what I think is going to happen over the next month regarding these hoarders. I may be wrong but I foresee that in a week or so when the store shelves have been restocked, there's going to be a second run on the stores for those who missed the first run and are still panicked. A few of the first wavers might even come back for "round 2" so to speak. Then two or three weeks after that, cooler heads will finally prevail and the stores will start running as normal again. And all the idiots who each have 1,000 rolls of toilet paper, 500 rolls of paper towels, 2,000 pounds of various disinfectants, 600 gallons of anti-bacterial soap and more food than they can eat in two years will look at all the crap they bought, then look at their cobweb infested bank account and wonder, "What the hell was all that for?"
And I'll just stand there, shake my head and say, "Y'all are stupid."
Ozzy Osbourne said it best, "I'm goin' off the rails on a Crazy Train!"

Found the Walthers T&NO Caboose SKU Numbers...which help me out greatly but also at the same time dont considering nothing is showing up.
Rd #237; 932-7604
Rd #342 & #276 - 932-27604
Also confirms that the "Broken" one on eBay is indeed the Walthers model that has been weathered but is used. I might as well try again on convincing my mom on this one considering the bid price is very low and no one put an offer yet. That, and I still have at least 6 days (as of this comment) to make a move.
Wish me luck!

Hey, 'tis me again! First of all, hope you had a Merry Christmas!
I come seeking an extra pair of eyes. I am on the hunt for an HO-Scale caboose and I was wondering if you could give me a hand in finding it. My options are now running limited since my local Hobbytown USA Closed Down, and eBay as well as Amazon are not giving me any results. BrassTrains is outta the option for both price AND availability of what I seek.
While I may not have the SKUs perfectly down, I do know that it is a Walthers product, and models the SP-Style C-30-1 Wood Caboose. I am looking for one in T&NO Markings, not SP or Southern Pacific. Road number, don't give a damn about. As long as it says T&NO.
I hope these help. If you know if any store or anyone has one please let me know! Thank you!

Gotcha. I'll keep my eyes peeled. There's a train show here in Houston coming up on Valentine's Day of all days. If I don't find one before then, I'll look around at the show. Question... what is your price? I ask because if I find one at the show I'll have to get it for you right then and there because the show is a one day affair.

Tbh I have no idea. I've seen the two-packs sell for 60$ and the singles sell for 40$ on Ebay. But, that's what Ebay sold them for. I have no idea what the original MSRPS were. I guess for now I'll set aside a good 60-80 for the caboose, be it a single or two pack.
EDIT: That is of course before another example actually pops up on eBay that I can snag for myself. I can say that one example popped up on Ebay about two days ago but when I showed "upper management" it was vetoed for good because some parts are broken as well as it having no box. That, and it ends in 5 days and is a bid item, not buy it now

I’ve been looking at types of Code 83 track and I wanted your opinion on some of them. What’s your preference? Anything good to expect from Atlas Code 83 and Bachmann Nickel-Silver 83? what are your thoughts on the new Magne-lock track from Lionel and does that look goof for the long run?

Hey. I am so sorry it's taken me so long answer this. But assuming you're talking about track that comes on the plastic roadbed, bar none the leader in that field in Kato Unitrack. The reason why is because you have the most versatility with it in my opinion. You have things like pieces of track with signals already installed and integration into a DCC system is relatively easy. One drawback, you're longest straight section with Kato Unitrack is only 14.5 inches. That's well below the longest Bachmann offers which is 36" Now Bachmann EZ Track is a close second again because of the versatility and they were the first ones to do the kind of track mounted on plastic roadbed. It's also a little cheaper and just every hobby shop will carry it. There's also a reasonable chance that your local Hobby Lobby will have it too. The one drawback to it is it's not quite as robust as Kato Unitrack, which is why Bachmann is #2 on my list instead of #1. One other little tidbit... Kato Unitrack is code 83, Bachmann is Code 100. I have to confess, I don't know much about Lionel's Magnelock track. I'm trying to remember if Model Power (went out of business in 2014) ever did anything like that. I don't think so but the reason why I say that is because it seems Lionel has their hands on a lot of Model Power's old molds for structures and it looks like they'll releasing some new versions of those soon.
Golden Rule regarding track... nickel silver rails always. Brass looks tacky and gets dirty very easy, pot metal will rust over time. No one makes brass track anymore but it can still found at train shows or someone's garage sale by someone who's just trying to get rid of it and doesn't really know what they have, If you find yourself in possession of some brass track, sink it for two points in the nearest trash can... that's all it's good for. Pot metal...same thing. I think Bachmann is the only company that still makes it and even that is in limited quantities. It's easily identifiable by the black roadbed it comes on. You want the nickel silver which comes on gray roadbed.
As for rail code, I personally prefer Code 100, but Code 83 is fine. I've nothing but trouble with Code 70 but then it also depends on the how good your track work is. I recommend Code 100 or 83 for beginners, Code 70 and Code 55 for experts. And when I say experts, I mean real experts. It is MUCH easier to over ballast Code 70 than it is to over ballast Code 100 (it does happen).
Now if we're talking about track that is NOT on plastic roadbed, like where you have to build your own roadbed with cork for example, that's a whole other ball game. Atlas is one of the leaders in this field and their Code 83 is actually more versatile than their Code 100. You have curved turnouts and #8 turnouts available that you don't have with Atlas Code 100 (they are available from other companies however). When it comes to basic track with no roadbed I prefer Atlas and MicroEngineering for basic track pieces. Walthers is also coming out with some track soon as well, so it will be interesting to see what their track is like especially since they're touting their turnouts as being DCC friendly. For turnouts, I like Peco. Those are imported from Great Britain but what I like about them is that the throw bar locks the points in place when you throw the turnout. So you don't have to rush to motorize all your turnouts. Rule of thumb I have on this and some people would disagree with me about it... only motorize turnouts that are too far to be reached by hand. Caboose Industries makes some really nice ground throw levers that look like actual switch stands. Using them in my opinion gives a whole new level of realism to operation because it makes you both the engineer and the brakeman.
That's a lot I've covered and it may not answer all your questions. Let me know if you have more.

Insanely difficult to put together. In my opinion, they're one step below scratch built. Definitely not for a beginner and I've never tackled one either. I know several people who have though and all of them have said, "never again." If you can find one that already built, great. If not, stay away until you get vastly more experienced.

No problem. Those passenger kits are great... when they are done right. That's the interlaying problem though; they are notoriously difficult to construct and easy to screw up. That's why Lombard Hobbies in the Chicago area was stocked to the brim with them for the longest time... even at only $10 a pop.
