In the video I actually use only 2 modified tiles, the Xbox avatar and the Alice, that works with the same animation method you used for the xbox live tile.
What I'm really looking forward is an Xbox Live Omnimo Extension, with animated tiles for popular games, and a game list, inspired to the mango games hub, if you are crazy enough you can actually create a big game config that will be toggled when the user press on the Xbox Live Tile, and there you can recreate the Gamelist of the Mango platform.
It's a crazy idea maybe cannot actually done, who knows

I know what you mean, see, the original animated Xbox live tile was a crazy idea too
It uses way too much CPU and needs a lot of work, not really practical... However it's possible to make a autoit window which can show some sort of flash animation related to the xbox thing, not sure.
