On second thoughts your art shoes a closer resemblance to that of super metroid it has that pretty rusty shiny plastic look about it it reminds me of the nineties I love it

It's abandonware no matter what people say also try 2 it's graphics and faceplate are better plus you can get amazing mods for it look like a modern day game the best mod is called rebirth

Some more guys involved in comics who might be good for you to network with . . . James, Chris and Brett are friends and do comicons together. Karl's up there but very approachable. Same for Jimbo, who's a pro inker. I'll cull the pros and semipros from my watch list, in time, so I can connect people.

Thank you! My story is similar to yours in a way. I am much farther behind the curve, however. I just started to try some comic stuff because I have a few stories that are screaming to be actualized and I really wanted to do comic art as a kid. I fear I am too far behind the curve to get it done well on my own, but I can at least have some fun with it and get the ideas and concepts out of my head.
I really dig your inking style. It is very loose, painterly and expressive. Definitely the direction I want to be going with my own art.

I know what you mean about stories screaming to be actualized, as well the self-doubt. When I started here my hope was to meet my guru. Instead, I've become such a know it all that if I did meet my guru, I'd correct HIM! (Probably have and probably did! Hehe.)
The big boys of the previous generation all seem to say the same thing. The only way to do it is on one's own. Trial and error, experiment, dogged self-determination, and for those who have a brain, research, research and more research!
