Well Hi, since you are encouraging me to say, I think that time spent concentrating on your lighting setups would be constructive. Make sure you have no ambient in your materials and no sky dome light in your sky. So that when you turn off all your lights you render a fully black scene. Once you are at that stage, start adding light sources one at a time and trying as far as possible to replicate some real life lighting setup. The scenes you build don't have to be complex. Just get to grips with the overall lighting situation and then you will be in a position to apply that knowledge to the more fantastic scenes. Realistic lighting helps to "sell" an unreal scene. Though I have no concrete evidence to back up this impression, it is my belief that good lighting is over half the battle with rendered scenes. And since the rest is a bit of everything, concentrating on lighting is a good strategy for rapid progress. That's what I think. And of course, doing lots of renders.

So long as you can accept video tutorials, I have many here, though you'll have to pick through a few to find one entirely suited to your topic. www.youtube.com/channel/UCldbp… Or if those are not to your taste www.bryce-tutorials.info/ you will find Chris has compiled an extensive list of what is out there. As for the gallery over at DAZ3D? You would need to create an account and then when you log in you get a series of options under your profile one of which give you access to the gallery upload interface.

You are very welcome. Another thing I would suggest is joining the Brycers on the DAZ3D "Bryce Talk" forum. The "Show us your renders" thread is particularly active and if you are willing to post your images you will find there are a few well versed and friendly Brycers willing to share their knowledge and views with you. And if you explain what you are trying to achieve in your renders and that you are interested in feedback and suggestions, then you will also find they can provide you with useful information from a variety of perspectives. Not everything is about making things photoreal, though sometimes it can seem that way.

Wings3D is a great modeling application for learning and modest projects, I found it quickly got to be a handful on larger things and have subsequently been lured over to Modo. The transition is not too painful if you ever fancy giving Modo a go then there is a 30 day free trial. But if do, before you do so, take a look at www.youtube.com/user/stammpe2 will help you understand the conceptual differences. I would recommend watching these anyway if you are interested in modelling, I found them insightful and amusing.

You are welcome. The greatest hurdle for me with Modo was the price. I waited for a sale but even then, it was still pretty expensive. And that's not to say it wasn't worth it. Just I didn't want to part with the money being a Yorkshireman and all.

You've got some nice stuff. As it happens I'm a content creator rather than a content consumer, but I don't object to looking at your nice products. Do you vend anything at DAZ3D too? Or only here?

Ah... well I don't do much in the way of modeling in Bryce, however I've seen game show sets built in Bryce by one of the people on the Bryce Talk forum over at DAZ 3D. It's been a while since I've seen any activity from them, Tnpir4000 on that forum but you can see the set on his channel here www.youtube.com/channel/UCUYN_… certainly the person to ask.

Oh? I'm sorry to hear that. Well... don't judge an artist by their works huh? OK, next off then, I would recommend trying the Bryce Talk forum over at DAZ 3D. There are plenty of folks there who try their hands at modeling in Bryce. Though few reach the same standard as Brandon, but if he won't help, then it can't be helped. Otherwise, I would encourage you to give Wings 3D a go, it's free and I and others can supply plenty of tutorials to get you up and running. But the choice ultimately is the artist and whatever tool you are happiest using.
