Hello. I figure that I should comment here. I am your mentor, Darkartist82 or Prairie, if you wish to call me that. I have taken the time to browse through a few pieces in your gallery to get an idea of what you like to write. In my opinion, you are very talented and seem to have a great love for writing. But I get the feeling you're holding back a bit in fear that you or your writing will be judged too harshly.
Trust me, I've been there, it's scary to put something you're passionate about on the chopping block for others to break apart and critique every little detail of it. If you find that people are leaving anything negative and unhelpful in the comments, either ignore it or handle the situation maturely. I've had a few bad comments on some of my darker stuff, it made me feel horrible. Don't let little things like that get to you. You are talented and you have the 'stuff' to become something great or, as many people of the internet would phrase it, 'Don't let the 'haters' destroy your sparkle.'
I thought that I should give you some motivational advice before we start this whole mentor/mentee thing. Smiles!
