haha dont get this that often, so it means alot to me. Some of your stuff is good too, like some of your more semi-realistic peices, I can only draw manga.

You're very welcome. Thanks also. I don't know why, but I think it's easier for me to draw realistically than to draw manga. Drawing manga is so much easier looking, but I seriously have a hard time with it. lol Btw, would you like to become friends? If you wouldn't, that's fine. It's just I really, really love anime and manga and I thought it would be great to make some more friends (since I haven't been on here for very long) that love the same! :3

some professional artists i've met actually said if you learn anatomy really well and get good at making art realistically its easier to maniplulate proportions and anatomy to make cartoons or anime style art.
and honestly i believe its true, this one art teacher i had could draw manga style in one day, but he could draw bodies and stuff realisically.
Ive always draw cartoony and sometimes i hard a hard time doing certain things because i didn't learn realism first, so im having to back track alot.
my tip would be to learn anatomy, prortions, and perspective asap, it's better to start out early then having to learn it later.

I'm doing and Izaya cosplay soon for a convention and I was wondering if it is better to get the Izaya jacket online or make it yourself? idk what to do so im asking an Izaya cosplayer.

Actually I just bought my jacket for a target while I was on vacation at Georgia last year. It was freezing too but I was like why not use this baby for cosplay too.
Well besides that if I where you I probably would just buy a black jacket with a fur hood or buy a jacket and sew fur on the hood and sleeves. You can buy fur at Micheals or Jo-ann fabrics or just get the jacket from eBay, amazon, etc. BUT by all means DO NOT buy a cosplay costume those turn about really crappy or cheat you out of your money, you would probably be better off having a blind person make you it than buying one those crappy things. If you're a beginner cosplayer buying a jacket would probably be the best route, unless you know how to make clothing (which I don't).
