So I've been experimenting with different pine needle teas lately and today I decide to try cedar. At first the smell just reminded me of Christmas shopping, as most of the others did as well, but every time I taste it for some reason I'm reminded of our room on the third floor of the mansion, and I have no idea why. It's driving me nuts! Thoughts?

MY thoughts.....
1.) the smell in our room is a combination of the what the family of squirrels left in the walls..... and whatever has been spilled on that carpet.
2.) There are no cedar trees in the Philippines, thus I can't seem to remember the smell of our room. Makes me a bit sad.
3.) I have no money for Christmas shopping.... and you should not buy into that buying-stuff-for-the-holidays b.s.
4.) You are awesome. And you should continue your pursuit into awesomeness.

Okay, ummmmm..... an androgynous Filipino, a dirty Indian and a freakishly handsome white guy walk into a bar. The bartender asks the Filipino what he wants to drink, to which the Filipino replies "what's this?" and suddenly falls asleep hunched over a barstool. The Indian requests a bottle of ketchup with a little umbrella and a crazy straw. The white guy says "my eye hurts" then takes a tuna sandwich out of his front pocket and starts nibbling at it like a rodent. The bartender, clearly annoyed, excuses himself to the back room and returns several minutes later with a burly bespectacled fellow slightly resembling Drew Carey. Something happens and blah, blah, blah, I don't fucking know. You finish it! I'm too tired for this creative writing shit right now, Barry!

HELSAAAAAAA!!!! It's been a while!!!! How's George? How's Canada? Is the air cleaner and fresher? I want to work for the video game companies there! Oh wait, the typhoon.... i mean, yeah. Wind here got a little freaky but Manila wasn't hit as bad as the other parts of the Philippines. So me and the family i have here are safe. Thanks for being concerned. Typhoon is in Vietnam now. By the way, what are you and George working on now? It'd be nice to catch up with you guys.

i'm super happy you're safe and sound! we're great here in Vancouver. the air is ok. it's rainy, and snobby. lol. Right now we're working on getting our Canadian residency, mainly because we can't afford to move anywhere at this point. haha. Graduated in spring and now I work at a t-shirt printing place, silk screening shirts, while I try to get this whole art career off the ground. George is freelancing. he's been doing that for years now and have built a good list of clients for himself. he's awesome as always.
as far as video game companies go... they make it sound awesomer than it actually is. but I don't know much about the video game companies here. you mean specifically in Vancouver? or Canada in general? I hear Toronto is way better at that than here.

Manila is safe. But the central part of the Philippines got hit bad. I'm okay. But you can send me a Playstation 4 so i can distract myself from the horrors of the real world, and eventually feel better with the fictional reality that video games create. Of course i know where you got it from... duuuuhhh Logan's run. Where they kill people your age and your son gets to live a life free from your tyranny. But seriously, James' (I mean Wolverine { i mean the comic book superhero with claws, not the late wrestler chris Benoit}) "Logan" name came from his child beating biological father. And the only reason it stuck with him was it was the only name that he remembered after he was severely traumatized with the death of his father and the rejection of his mother. But then again, for almost 30 year ( 70s to late 90s) Wolverine's "real" name was Logan. Yup. Still got my geek on. But Truthfully it is a lovely name. And there's no better role model than someone who has murdered bajillions of ninjas, criminals, supervillains, gal pals and preaches that you have to live a life of honor! You and your son should visit Asia just like wolverine did. But don't go to Japan. Go to Philippines and show your son how disgusting your life is that after spending three years at the Kubert school you made friends with one of the most detestable human beings in the world: ME. Hey Dave!!! I haven't been typhooned or ramened. But I've been wanting to go visit the east coast just to catch up with you guys. I miss the old days when we were still learning the ropes and before we found out that being an artist is a bitch. Right now i'm currently busy with work doing textures for games (zbrush sculptures, high res modelling) for games, and concept art. I've been pushing myself to learn more about the videogame industry and hopefully it pays off in the future. Maybe i can steal work from you Americans. you guys call it outsourcing, i call it post modern terrorism since we are taking the money out of your country... but then again you guys get it back because third world rich kids end up buying your wares. I hope things are going well for you there. Harwinder if you are reading this you suck. I hope i can visit you guys soon.

And it's not like you guys are really stealing anything. It's being given to you/forced on you because it makes the super rich even richer. Have you ever heard of Confessions of an Economic Hitman?
