Anyway thanks a lot for your well thought comment, it really shows that you spent a little more time on looking at Machinae than only a few seconds. And let me tell you - you've got me. The cloud lighting is something I wasn't really aware of but now that you've mentioned it's very obvious. I'll consider that in the future.
I knew about the problems of the angle of the render and the clouds...that's something I simply couldn't change anymore when I realized it (which was almost at the end of the composition, sadly).
But again, I appreciate your helpful (and encouraging) comment!
BTW; may I ask if you have some more informations on the status of artician.com? I mean, is it dead or something? After the forums went offline I didn't really check back anymore =/

They've been having probs so much they just decided to put everything on hold. Think they're gonna end up completely rebuilding the site. Think they have the forums running right now too.
