Most definitely, I can't understand all of it, though what I can understand seems very sensible and beautiful.

what did you use when you used to spike your hair? I'm going the liberty spikes route, but glue just takes so damned long to blow dry.

Knox Unflavored Gelatin, mixed pretty thickly, not too much water added. It dried pretty quickly, was a bitch to wash out.

I picked up a really shitty broken acoustic today for $10. Want to fix it up/keep it? I'm interested in learning, so I could perhaps pay you if you could get it in playing condition.

dnimble In reply to ZaonOmega [2009-02-07 23:52:35 +0000 UTC]

How is it broken? I would love to take a look at it and see what I can do, you should bring it north the next time you are through here.

well, we leave the third and I think we arrive in Sacramento on the sixth. Then from there we have a seven day pass to travel on the train system there anywhere in the state that the route connects to. I have an uncle in Santa Babara and Chris has one in San Fransisco so basically until the thirteenth we wander and hitch hike between those two. Maybe get a tattoo or two.

Black Elk Speaks is a great book. It has the prophesy I want fulfilled.
Yeah, may mankind find the good Red road, get off this damn black road and restore the Tree of Life and the Sacred Hoop.

Shit, that's part of what my Tree of Life sculpture is about ... balance, harmony peace, yeah!

Most definitely! Your work is something that I think needed to happen, it seems to be an extention of natures imagination as opposed to an obstruction to it. "Yeah, may mankind find the good Red road, get off this damn black road and restore the Tree of Life and the Sacred Hoop."-indeed, in the execution of this is where I find calling.

Thanks a lot man.

Have you heard of Nanosolar? It's sounds like the breakthrough in solar technology mankind needs.
I think cheap energy at the center most solutions just as expensive monopoly controlled energy is enslaving us.

Keep faith.

dnimble In reply to SeumasKaerr [2008-01-07 16:37:40 +0000 UTC]

Snazzy-I have never heard of it, but looks to be a promising option if we're going to try to retain this population and its craziness and excessiveness. Natural selection will have its ways with us, surely.

SeumasKaerr In reply to dnimble [2008-01-08 01:53:47 +0000 UTC]

Yeah no doubt.
If I could afford to build a house I'd be talking to the Nanosolar people.

I had a book..cant remember the name..its was Jungian Theory on Masculinity or something like that. I googled him. I was mostly interested in what he had to say about "the Shadow Self" or The Other. Also his thoughts on the ID and Anima.

Well, it says that you are in Austria, you obviously know english quite well, so I wondered what else you know, plus I love learning about different people, different cultures, what people do; it's craziness.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

soleus In reply to dnimble [2007-10-04 07:36:40 +0000 UTC]

I know... it's strange to sit on the other side of the world and still talk. well, austria is not what most of you expect ! but of course we all have opinions and expectations of what we don't know... maybe we know more about the u.s. than you know about austria - it's just a small country

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dnimble In reply to soleus [2007-10-04 14:47:11 +0000 UTC]

Indeed! Technology, hah. I can honestly say that, unless there is something stored way back in my brain, I know nothing about Austria. The people in charge of this country seem to scoop out their fair share of shit with the rest of the world, so I'd assume that you'd know more about here. Our major media doesn't really tell us much aside from all the bad in the world, 'the war on Iraq', and american celebrities with the ever-present crisis on their hands. That would be why I'm heading to London soon...

my new tattoo is going to be like a tree lady dryad thing... it's going to be sweet!
And I don't think it is a bad thing to use some loan money towards new ink, right? In my case I might just have to give up food and water for a few weeks, but you know, you gotta do what you gotta do...
Have a good one.

And about the brushes and stuff, I'm not sure, because, I have a mac too, and like, whenever I try downloading brushed off of dA, for example, it never works..
it seems like there should be some way to, unfortunately, it is a way that I am unaware of, sorry I couldn't help.
Hope you've been doing good and all that, with whatever you might be doing at the moment.
