Thank you! I use Fimo Classic. It is stiff to work with but ends up strong and is relatively free of plaques. Here's a good site to get started: www.dollmakersdream.com/

Thank you! It's not so hard to sculpt as it is tedious. Looking from every angle, taking close up pics, seeing it in the mirror to make sure that it's symmetrical, and even then it's still not quite perfect. For the faces, I kind of taught myself through trial and error. The bodies I used online tutorials but I still have a lot of trouble with the bodies. I have a really hard time keeping my clay clean too. My clay just seems like a magnet for lint and dust despite my best efforts. I pretty much just googled for the tutorials. There are a few polymer clay forums that are pretty useful. Your polymer art is really cute! Good luck!

Oh, and I started making dolls about 6 years ago. I'm a doll collector and really particular about the faces, and I've always wanted to make my own doll but didn't think it was possible until I found out about polymer clay. My first doll was really, um, unattractive haha. How did you get started?

I started when I stumbled upon a shop that sells polymer clay, I had an idea of making tiny figurines for my friends for last Christmas. I tried, but they failed miserably And that's how I started studying how to really make miniatures, bought books, Googled, looked at tutorials. And after almost a year, this is what I've achieved. I STILL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN! And Im glad to see a lot of artists (like you!) who inspire me to keep practicing Thank you again You have amazing dedication to your art!

Wow, thank you so much! Your work is amazing as well. Especially your miniature food, which makes me want to grab it off the screen and eat it. I've got a really horrible sweet tooth haha.
