Hey there! You seem to know a lot about the legality of selling pokemon. I was just curious, would it be considered legal to ask for art instead of points/money when it comes to selling pokemon?
Just a disclaimer, I'm not doing this, nor do I intend to do it myself. I've just seen a lot of shiny sellers pop-up recently with the release of pokebank.

As far as I know, I haven't seen anything about taking art in exchange, so my assumption is that it's okay? Unless there's been people banned for that too, in which case I have no idea.. All I know is that basically, selling them for points/money/whatever other virtual currency is considered kinda like art theft, selling something that doesn't rightfully belong to you, so really, not sure how it works with the art offers I've seen around :\

Is it one of the new 3DS models, or the old one? If so, maybe try updating the DS, or maybe check the wifi connection settings and resetting it in there, or even turning off the wifi if it's the older model for a few minutes and turning it back on. Just trying to be a bit helpful

Yeah, or like I also mentioned, maybe even just delete the setting in the wifi connections and try setting it back up manually, that may help it as well.
