Hi, I cam across your page while researching the Surface Pro.
Are you still using your Surface Pro with Photoshop? Have you overcome the issue with the slippery screen and lack of hotkeys?
Have you tried other software like Sai or Painter?
I'm trying to decide whether to get one, or maybe a cintiq companion (or even iPad with Procreate app)

I haven't overcome the slippery issue yet. But i think if i apply a textured screen protector, it would help a lot.
I don't know any solution for the hotkeys, and i don't have other software to try it
The accuracy/calibration is my main concern actually....
I heard Cintiq has a new kind of pc tablet but is ridiculously expensive LOL
I dont know if i can draw accurately with those huge iPad Stylus head, so i would not recommend it....

Thanks for the reply. I did some more research and discovered that there is a stylus called the Wacom Bamboo Feel stylus, compatible with the Surface Pro. You can buy 'soft' nibs for this stylus, which also fit into the default stylus that you get with the Surface Pro. These soft tips would give a less slippery feel. The Bamboo Feel stylus is also supposedly more accurate.
I have also read that the Incipio self healing screen protector might be a good option for reducing slipperiness.
Regarding hotkeys, the stylus has buttons on it that you can map to right? You could at least map the eye dropper tool to a stylus button, which from what I can tell is the most important feature you'd want a hotkey for right?
I agree that the new Cintiq Companions are too expensive to justify.
Also agree that the fat rubber tips on most iPad styli would make it harder to be precise. However the Adonit Jot Touch 4 is apparently very precise, which I am considering.
