I used to take piano lessons and I still remember everything I've learned. I can play things by ear as well.
I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar too.

Well since you have already learned some stuff on piano it should make it a bit easier to learn guitar I think well at least it did for me

Just some of the basic songs. One song I learned by ear was Angel Eyes by Jim Brickman. It's not very complicated, but it's pretty.
The thing about guitar, is it's murder on the fingertips when you don't have the callouses in place haha.

Hey learning how to play anything by ear is awesome and makes it even better when you figure it out that way you can say you did it all by yourself I like figuring out stuff by ear over tabs or sheet music. Oh I know it use to suck back when I first started playing because my fingers would hurt so much lol

Sorry for not replying back for awhile...I have been busy with some stuff and getting ready for a show that I'm going to be playing in January over in LA and Sacramento.

Yah I'm in a band We are kinda just getting started with it and writing all the songs, but the show that's coming up is with another band so I got to learn all of these new songs in a few months lol

And I'm sure you could do it. Playing in a band is probably the best thing that I have done for my music because you learn so much from playing with other musicians
