Hey there! :D (Big Grin) I've been drawing for my whole life, but I probably started really developing a passion for it about 15 years ago. As far as tips go, let's see... don't be afraid to do bad art, because you're gonna do a lot of it, and it's necessary to get good-- I've heard it said that it takes about 10,000 bad drawings to get someplace decent with your work. So every time you produce a bad one, just think "That's one of the 10,000!" That's how I get through without getting too down on myself.

The other big important thing I can say is to commit yourself to being a lifelong learner. The second you think you've mastered something is the second it stagnates, so always try to keep fresh, and definitely never feel bad for not knowing enough, because you can always ALWAYS learn if you give it your best shot.

Oh, and finally, be yourself with your art. Find what you really like to draw or paint or sculpt or whatever, and devote yourself to that. People are gonna love you for what you produce, not how well you can copy someone else, so don't feel bad just because you can't paint like so-and-so. Learn from others, but don't start comparing yourself to them, because that'll really wear you down. Find your niche, have fun, and be the best you that you can be!

The best advice I can give is to look up reference! Google images is great in a pinch, though of course if you reference really heavily, you'll want to credit the original image if you share your art with anyone. It's also cool to check out the underlying anatomy, so you might look for wolf or dog skeletons and sketch what you see to really understand the underlying anatomy.

After that, it's all up to practice. I get made fun of because it seems like all I draw are dogs, but the cool thing about that is that... well, now I can draw dogs, haha. Just keep at it!
