I've been doing very well thank you,
life has been good to me lately^^
A lot has happened lately, someone wants to hire me to do some drawings for their video game store & the owner of that store already saw what kind of drawings/sketches I could do & so far, he likes my sketches^^
But I haven't worked on any of the sketches for the store yet

3 weeks ago, I finally got my tattoo! ^^ 
I'm really happy with it, & it's on my left forearm.
I've been drawing for the owners of the tattoo shop where I got my tattoo done, & that's why I haven't drawn anything yet for the video game store. The first picture that I drew for them was a Panda bear, because the person who works there, his name is Panda & he's a friend of my mom's.
Then today, I just got done drawing a Pit bull for the guy who did my tattoo & who's the owner of the shop. Now, I'm working on my next picture of a Tasmanian Devil for the other owner of the tattoo shop, it's been pretty tiresome, but it's worth to see a smile on their faces^^

Life has just been a bit exhausting and all over the place. There were highs and lows, but they were so extreme that I am wiped out. Thankfully things are stabilizing now ^^
I am so thankful to hear that and I will always keep you in mind when I feel down. You are a very good friend and I value your kindness. 

Oh my goodness! That is so amazing Ashley! I cannot believe that, it is just so surreal! Good luck and maybe this will lead to even more interest in your work! <3

That is just fantastic, I am glad to hear your art is getting the recognition it deserves. 
Did the tattoo go okay? Did it hurt much afterwards?
I drew a tattoo for my friends dad once and now he has it on his arm xD
It is both a strange feeling and a happy one. Strange because someone else has your art on their arm forever and I worry it is not very nice, but also so gratifying because someone liked it enough to permanently wear your art *0* 
Are you going to keep working with the tattoo place? They should offer you a job!

Oh yes, the tattoo went great! It did hurt a little bit & I was really nervous but really excited at the same time, then I got used to it & got over the nervous feeling. I remained calm & I sat like a rock the whole time & Ray, the guy who did my tattoo, assured me that getting a tattoo isn't what we expected & all you'll ever feel is your skin being irritated. And while I was getting my tattoo done, I got to talk to Ray & get to know him better & it was nice the whole time.
My little brother was with me the whole time, I could tell he was nervous for me at first, but then everything went ok^^
Afterwards, Ray cleaned & bandaged my arm it didn't hurt afterwards, but my skin was irritating a little bit & Ray gave me instructions on how to take care of my tattoo & I followed through with the instructions the whole time.
But the scary thing was that I woke up a couple of times only to find my fingernails almost scratching my tattoo & that was one of the things that I wasn't supposed to do while my arm is healing, because that could cause a scar tissue if you scratch it while it's healing, so I immediately went into the bathroom & clipped all of my fingernails until it is really, really short.
Oh I almost forgot to tell you that my little brother recorded me getting the tattoo, so whenever I have free time, I'll work on the video & upload it on YouTube!

That is so Amazing Robyn, it must've felt Amazing when he had your artwork on his arm! Aw, Don't worry about it dear, all of your artworks are very lovely, you're a very talented person who also deserves some recognition. I think that was truly amazing that your friend's dad has your artwork on his arm, I think that says a lot about your work^^

Yes I am & I'm thinking about some future works for them, especially Panda because he has kids of his own & what I'm thinking about drawing is two cute little panda cubs & I already have the image inside my head, I just need to draw it! xD
Yeah they should, at least they can pay me for my work xD But I mostly don't mind drawing pictures for free *even though my mother would want me to start charging people*.

Thanks for telling me about it. I did not know much about the process and it doesn't sound too scary after you have told me about it. Ah the nail thing was a clever idea! I have no nails because I always pull at them if I am nervous or not doing anything. I constantly have to be on the go

Thank you very much <3 It was a skull like design. It was rather different to what I would normally draw, but it is good to get a challenge to improve your skills.

Thank you, it was the only thing I could think about. Ah biting your nails is a bad habit (I'm sure you hear this all the time.) I used to bite my nails whenever there's a hangnail, but now I don't anymore because it made my teeth sensitive ><

ASHLEY! I have been the worst and slowest replier ever ¬.¬ I think I might actually keep on top of things now though. I have a rhythm for life at the minute thank goodness! 

I usually don't bite my nails, but something about revision makes me bite them right off or else I end up accidently cutting myself by pulling my skin or something. I don't realise I am doing it at the time! Just another way to make revision less fun xD Thankfully I tried painting my nails in thick varnish and I have been able to stop. 
Oh that is quite a difference! Do you find it easy to get along with him due to the age difference? 

How have art related things been? And have you been having a good year so far?

I look forward to seeing your work every time it goes up. How has the youtube channnel been going?

I honestly think I'm the slowest replier ever, I try to reply back as soon as I can though, but everyone has a reason to be slow on replies right?

Ahh, I understand, that's what's funny about the mind, it makes you do something that you don't normally do subconsciously. That's good to hear I'm glad you found a way to stop the nail biting, gotta keep up with your nails, heeheehee! ^^
Oh yes it is, But we get along great, we're like the best of buddies & it is easy to get along despite the age difference, we would watch stuff on YouTube like Smosh, Pewdiepie, etc. We would play video games, & we would exercise from time to time (definitely need to get back on exercising XD). I don't know, I think ever since he was born, we began to do something together & from then on, we became great buddies.

The Art stuff have been pretty busy, I try to come up with new ideas to draw & post here on DA & my brain has been exploding with all kinds of ideas, like if I see something on T.V, in a magazine, or on the Internet, my brain will come up with a bunch of ideas like there's no tomorrow! XD
My year has been going great so far, a little weird, but it's still good. How is your year so far?
