I'm a broke college student in central nj. i work for a swordsmith, I make blades for myself, which i sell, and i finish pieces for him, which he sells. i started out as a blacksmith, but my forge access is limited right now between work and school, i'm putting together a small forge for use at home. my hobbies include homebrew, textiles, and i used to do a fair bit of chain mail. if you want something made, i do most of my work on commission, and i price low. every blade i make is overseen by a well known bladesmith with 40 years under his belt, so they're all top quality (or he makes me start over from scratch). i sell textiles, but i dont tend to keep a large amount in stock.
also, i'm starting to make supplies for sale, predrilled handles, blade blanks (custom and set) mosaic pins, hardware like bolsters, backplates and ferrules, as well as mokume-gane. if you're interested in making your own knives and need a supply of any pieces, get in touch with me and we'll work something out.
if you wanna check out the stuff my master does, he does occasionally update his blog, or at least tell me to. i've put in some work on most of the blades he puts up, and i'm learning (slowly) how to do the stuff on my own. enjoy
