Heh, yesterday I came from Sweden to Poland - I was there for 2 weeks...

My uncle and his wife live in Angelholm, little, nice, clean town 100 km from Treleborg... Wow, Sweden kicks ass: people are different, towns are different, menatlity is different - everything is different... I have seen Malmo, Helsinborg, Goeteborg and few smaller towns... I hope that I will go there next year... :D (Big Grin)

btw: I heard from my aunt, that Swedish people dislike foreigners, especially Poles... Is that true?

Haha, yes, but I think that a two-weeks-a-year-dose of Sweden is quite enough, believe me when I say that you'll get sick of it after a while. The mentality, yes... "You shall not believe that you are something" - the first commandment of the "Jante-law" that seems to run the subconsciousness of this country. Sums it up pretty well, everyone acts like zombies. :/

Hm, I think your aunt is right... A little bit, at least. Sadly, there's alot of racial prejudices lurking in the depths of many minds here, I think it has to do with swedes in particular being afraid of the new and unknown. It's scary; the No-We-Are-Not-Racists-We-Just-Want-Them- Out-Of-Here-party is gaining votes in every election.
But then there's alot of nice people here too :) (Smile)
About Poles... I don't know, but there's alot of people from Poland, mainly builders, that comes here in the summer to work. Black, of course, and I'm sure they get a shitty payment. A lot of them can't speak english and when there's no communication people start thinking for themselves, and we all know how that usually ends up. (THAT'S RIGHT - PREJUDICES! Congratulations, you just won two beans and a trip to Sudan...)
