Ack college. I read you were studying languages? That sounds cool! I had a friend from school who went to do that and is now studying away in Europe. If I had the mind capacity and the patience to do it I so would. How's it going?
I'm ok thanks. Just finished up a four week project for college...and it was so stressful. My tutors are, for lack of a better word, shite. They don't give any positive crit or anything, just stare at you. It's so frustrating -_-; hope things pick up soon...

College is good! I love my teachers 'n everything (though the system itself sucks ass; they hate home schoolers, apparently).
Yup, I'm still majoring in foreign languages. All my college offers is Spanish though X[ I'm hopin' someday I can transfer somewhere that teaches Japanese, and also German (I've fallen in love with that language. It's so harsh and sharp ).

Yeah, I'm not shocked they hate home schoolers down there; that's probably why they suggest going to public high school. I blame standardized testing.

Anyway, very awesome about yonder colleging. I'm really glad you're enjoying it! I see way too may people who are just going to school to get into a certain job and make more money, and I just find it very sad they can't enjoy the experience of being taught by people who have given their whole lives to their field. Passion should beget passion, imo.

I have been really, really great, thanks! There's not really much that's changed. Um, I don't really speak to my family, because they're crazy. Still engaged. In my second year of university now, doing an honors specialization in animal behavior and I'm about to declare visual arts as my minor.
I'm currently obsessed with Assemblage 23; they're (well, "he's" technically, since it's just the one guy) an industrial/electronic/techno/ebm . . . group thing.
Oh, and I recently adopted a rat from a lady who didn't want her any longer. Her name is Snow, and she's beige hooded and freakishly bossy and intelligent. There be power struggles. X3

Now you must tell me all about everything you've been doing! Are you still living at home, and what college are you attending?

I know you don't upload online anymore, and I don't know exactly why. But if it's to avoid drama, I highly suggest getting a gallery at SA.n . I've been kicking around there for four months and it's so nice and peaceful, and I've never once seen so much as a tracing or a single flame war.
(and please don't take that as a, "get a gallery here so you can watch me so i'll be famous!" thing. it's just that sa.n is the first gallery i've actually enjoyed since my first few months at dA, so i thought you may enjoy it if you want an online gallery at all.)

Hah, yeah, I'm the exact same way. Actually, I have this really weird thing where I'll immediately fall in love with my professors. It's actually really great because it makes class soooo much more interesting!
Also, you have not hit peak nerddom until you've begun shipping your TAs. Oh, it is BAD (and yet, soooo goooood)!
Animal behavior is such a blast! It's half biology and half psychology, so it's the perfect balance between science and social science (though I find myself enjoying the biology part the most). Though the imminent joke that comes up whenever I mention my major gets a little old ("oh, animal behavior? you don't have to go to college for that, just study me/my wife/my father/my kids!").

Omg, if you like A23, we must fangirl together. Like, srsly. (I actually just acquired all his songs, so if you like and want, let me know and I'll send them to you.)

I KNOW! Agh! I've actually owned every type of "domestic" rodent, and rats are such a step above all the rest! They're like ferrets, only with more cat and less spazoid puppy. It's ridiculous that everyone is afraid of them, though. Even people who can handle mice hate rats, despite the fact that rats are much less likely to bite than any hamster or gerbil.
