I certainly know your username, you've been around the 'boards and the LEGO Community in general for about as long as I have. Though we may not have interacted much, I still know ya  

Glad you enjoy my poems I don't even know where they come from, I just get an idea for a line or a theme and then it just pours out of me without even thinking about it. If I try and think about it, it doesn't work. I guess poems are meant to be felt not thought though so I guess that makes some sense. 

I guess for me my childhood was about the only happy time in my life. Somewhere around mid high-school I realized how pathologically lonely I was and that has remained my curse ever since. Poetry is my vent. As "The Script" sings,

"Take that rage, put it on a page 
Take that page to the stage 
Blow the roof off the place "

I don't have like a schedule of when I post them, just as I finish them which is sometimes 2 a week and sometimes one every three or four months lol but I'm happy you were touched by them Probably my favorite is "To Dream" and the ones I relate to the most are either "Friendzone" or "Colorless"

How did you find me, by the way? I always wonder lol

You should start it! Even just writing anything down is better than a blank page when I would lose inspiration, I would just write anything down. Even if I knew it was total junk, it was a launching point. Like a pre-jump on a trampoline before you do the big jump to do a flip.

IDK, growing up hasn't brought any happiness, just disillusionment. While waiting makes it more worth it, deprivation is like hunger or thirst. Hunger eventually turns to starvation. Thirst to dehydration. Deprivation turns to desperation. 

I've got I think 6 poems currently in the works and two ideas for a couple more right now so they'll be coming out soon hopefully! Sad songs and lyrics are usually the  more meaningful ones. That's why I love artists like Birdy or Gabrielle Aplin. They are very forlorn and soulful singers.

Oh really? That’s surprising. xD I don’t believe I saw you much around the boards, or the gallery for that matter. I guess you with all the other old farts.

It’s really encouraging when you find someone else who feels the same as you, let alone a great talent. ^_^ Woah.. That’s really neat. I’ve been trying to muster up enough inspiration to write a story I’ve been working on for a long time, xD But I suppose art is supposed to be felt, not thought of. I shall try this new piece of wisdom.

I agree, that childhood does serve as a remembrance of innocent and carefree days, but that with growing up comes a new type of happiness. I believe that curse will vanish soon, and the waiting will make it all the more worth it. This season of your life is preparing you for better things, I bet my button on it. ^_^ It will make you truly appreciate your sweetheart, or whoever God puts in your life.

Well, I shall await eagerly for the next installment. xD Those were definitely some of my favourites, there’s also a little something inside me that likes sad things, such as songs or poetry, because it reminds me of the sad little girl I was a couple years ago.

I was feeling pretty nostalgic, so I found some old pals from the MBs, and I was looking at Keenan’s stuff, and just thinking about how people change.. And you popped up somewhere along the way.

I always loved the Western sets back then. I was really big into the Civil War at the time and they had Union soldiers in the sets.

I've been doing quite well! Working a new internship and just snagged a second part-time job in my off hours for fun and to get out of the office (I love lifeguarding). I know the feeling, I wish I could just drop the office job and write, for I can write while lifeguarding much of the time when no-one is there, but alas, the bank doth not agree.

Yeah, I've been on DA for a couple years now

Indeed, I love writing. Both prose and poetry. I have a 17-book series planned with the first one finished (draft form anyway) and two more in the works. More on the sci-fi end of things with a little fantasy depending on what part of the timeline it's in, even some Indiana Jones adventure style, one that's a modern inner-city crime drama, and some Western books in the mix as well all connected together, with a couple spin-off books. Writing for a Manga is a very different form than I've ever done lol.

I'm going into Industrial Engineering as a career, though, instead of writing as it's difficult to survive on an author's income unless the books really take off so I'm making sure I have a steady career in place too.
