Thank you so much for the watch! And I actually really love yours. If you don't mind me critiquing a little, I think from his nose up is completely perfect, but you have the angle of the mouth wrong. With the way his face is turned it angles in a bit more than what you have. If you fixed that angle I think it would look exactly like him. (: You have a lot of talent, so I'm sure if you keep practicing you'll surprise yourself! Something I find helpful is measuring distances and checking angles with my pencil. It's something all my teachers have taught me and it's helped me sooo much. And always spend as much time as you need to on the initial sketch. Make sure the proportions are accurate before you move on from the sketch and the rest of it will be a breeze! (:

oh my god! thank you so much! i knew something was off and i've been trying to figure out what it is but whatever i did to it, it just came out looking more or less the same. also, thanks for the compliment and all the tips! i really appreciate it. i'll make sure i apply all of that the next time i draw and hopefully my next drawing turns out better <3

Haha, no problem! Just remember, perseverance is going to help most of all. Even when you just kind of hate drawing because nothing comes out right you should still try to sketch something out every once in a while. It helps if you switch mediums every so often and try out something new. And it's always ohkay to walk away from a project for a few days, or even a few weeks. Sometimes it really helps your perspective and you can come back to it and see exactly what was wrong and how to fix it.

i am so sorry for the late reply! i've been busy lately, and haven't been on deviantart in ages. thanks again for the advice! i tried applying what you told me earlier and you are so right! it looks so much better with the adjusments. hahah, i'm following all your advice from now on. i really do think that you're just amazing and i am so in love with all your hunger games drawings thank you so much for giving me so much advice. i freaking love you for it. hahhahaaa
