With Persona 3 artwork it doesn't really matter. The folder stuff mainly applies to the other Persona games and fanfictions.

Good meeting you as well! Not too much here. Just lifted at the gym for a couple hours and then got a light lunch. Going to hang out and relax for the rest of the day, most likely. I don't get much time off work, so when I do, I like to do as little as possible haha. Doing anything fun this weekend?

Yep, life can get pretty hectic like that. I'm glad to be done with school, at least in terms of college. I'm about to complete my advanced nuclear engineering school in the Navy though. Ready to be done with that!
Starbucks is not a bad place, though I don't know if I'm hipster enough to fit in. I'm a fan of black coffee and not wearing fedoras. I don't even own a Mac!

I read that paragraph in a dramatic movie voice. I'm truly a renaissance man, right? Haha. Nah, I wish. My art was never that great and I still have so much to learn for my job. Maybe when I'm also a brain surgeon on the side!

My art really isn't that great, either. I have this thing where
I'm really interested in social experiments, kind of?
So I'm capable of drawing realism, but I dabble in a lot of the animu
stuff because I think it would probably be better received?
It's interesting to think that's how it is, especially on sites like
dA, or on Tumblr. Society 6, on the other hand, lends to that more
...hipsterish kind of semi-realism and a lot of geometric shapes, etc.
...the problem is that now I have no defined style of my own so I'm
not really sure how to find what I actually want to do. I'm so
fascinated by the response, that I don't actually create art for the sake
of creating it. There's a lot of kitsch conceptual BS that I'm spewing here.
...but aside from long comments. How are you?

Hey, life can get busy. I understand. I have been crazy busy at work. Standing some weird security watches at strange hours, and then feeling like a zombie through the day. On top of that, my birthday came up and so I was more than a little drunk on my off time. Just now feeling rested again.
I like your art because it seems like a fresh take on a few styles. Engaging and has some sort of life to it. I'm not all up on the hipster art styles, but I know that I like yours. I never really found a style, and hated my own art, so try to avoid that path! I think I created art because I was a lonely kid and wanted to do something -- anything -- to get noticed. But, that's not me anymore.
I'm doing well though. Finally had a decent, albeit short, workout. I really only feel good about my day if I'm sore; maybe my free time now goes into working out more than anything creative?

I probably won't get drunk, though. I'm too boring for that.
I don't know what I want to do with art. I think I want to tell stories
with it. But I'm not very fast at telling them the way I want to.
So I see this avenue for animu stuff, and I just think it's a really fast
and easy way to appeal to a market. ANY MARKET. Because my
first goal is to share, and my second is to improve? So... heeeere we are.
And hey. I should probably work out too, but I'm lazy.
So all the more power to you! Don't forget to be creative once in a while, though.

Looks like you're on the right path artistically. Your work stands out, so that's the real key.
I don't think I've been creative in a long time, so maybe I've lost it. Who knows -- maybe I'll get the urge again some day. I don't even have Photoshop anymore!

I've made a New Year's Resolution to try more traditional medium.

I think it's fun to try new things, and since art has always interested me
I don't want to let it fall the wayside. I don't want to see your creativity
fall aside either. If you're here, something initially brought you.
I've been a lazy illustrator up until now. I really want to learn more about
artists that inspire me. Seriously study them. Emulate their works at first;
try and get a handle on all these different techniques.
I think I'll start with watercolours.
Anyway, though... I hope that you can do something with your creativity!

Well, back in 2002, this site was actually an application skinning website. DeviantART, where art meets application. (Ah ha, now that makes sense!) So, I originally got on to download and collect WinAMP skins and a few backgrounds for my computer. It turned into something much more, and I've been along for the ride since. Neato, right?
It sounds like you are so goal driven and ambitious. One day I will get that urge again, I hope.
