Okay... 
The photos - I watch about 100 people, some friends, a few digital painters and many photographers. Some of the photos in my favourites come from people I watch, that's obvious I think. Then I quite often look at favourites of people who are interested in similar style like me. And finally, I open a single photography section (mostly "conceptual" or "abstract & surreal"), choose "Popular in 8 hours" and go through the photos. There are plenty of bad photos, but you can find some very good pieces. I think this is the best way to find unknown, but good photographers.
