Cause no offense but Al doesn't work right. He nearly choked on blood when he ate BLU Spy, and his gills got fucked up and Hans had to temporarily fix them, and then there's that stuff when Al goes into a bloodlust. That Medic is a fucking walking Acme kit.

And in my head, I picture him being a total swaggering braggart who thinks he's God's gift to humanity, but in reality he's a goddamn idiot who happens to do occasionally remarkable things very poorly.

That's actually quite accurate to as how I have pictured him. Though, seeing as he left Al to die, he likes to hide his mistakes rather than learn from or fix them. Better forgotten and dead than a failure.
And I know quite well Al, clinically, is pretty much a writhing disaster. Poor spy barely functions.
