well, I figure we should welcome all new members - trying to get an active base of people here - contests require a lot of involvement numbers don't matter much if no one check the group often

we do waay to much work finding all these contests to have less than, say 10,000 members... ^.^

I could use a new membership ^.^ mine goes in uh, 3 days!

lol just kidding.... yeah we do have a spot to donate to, its noted on the group's page - we also are going to start bribing large groups to feature this group (post a blog) you'd be surprised how low people will go.. 100 points (what $1.25) and a 10,000 member groups is begging us to do the deal.

We are not running a contest yet cause we are concentrated on finding new staff and membership first. If anything I'll probably end up advertising my next personal contest as the groups contest, simply because I offer higher rewards than, well any contest advertised so far.. (i take that back there is one thats doing some 6000pts to 1st) i had one end in December, and as you can see on my page - 1st was $60...

we are looking for fairly active people to do eaither contest digging (finding new contests) or to help a bit with organization - I was thinking about a KEY at the top of the page and various symbols or phrases to add next to the contests something that could tell the onlooker that its say "high rewards" or "coloring line art" or "quick"(ie a naming contest) "OC drawing contest" ect. ect. quite a few have asked us to say what each contest is about, but we've tried that - its simply too much clutter.

finding contests would be alone the lines of digging them up (link would be fine - we can do the formatting) and follow them with a deadline, contest name, and name of contest holder...

Send the group a note so the founder can get it both jobs do take some time, thats why we're looking for at least 2 new members for staff... we recently demoted like 5 staff members for slacking..

the trick for searching btw is to search the word "contest" and change the time submitted to 8 hours and make sure the contest still has some reasonable amount of time left, cause most people who enter contests label the work "contest" or put in the notes "for XXX Contest" It's also good to search the news, or the projects sections, and of course - we get a fair amount of people who come to us.

organizing can be a pain, when you see all the formatting and html done in the blog post you'd see how hard it is to navigate
