How was your journey to Italy? And where have you been?

Italy was great thanks! Lovely and warm
We stayed in Sorrento for the week and visited: Pompeii twice, Herculaneum, Solfatara, Cumae and Lake Avernus, Capri (Villa Jovis was up a MASSIVE hill), some random Amphitheatre in Pozzuoli, the Naples Museum, Poppaea's villa and Bagna Jovanna.
A lot of places! I was dead afterwards! It was an ancient history trip, in case you were wondering

sounds amazing
I have only been to Pompeii and some places around Lake Garda. But yeah - Italy IS great ^^ I loved the ice cream there +g+
I don't know. Italian cities and villages have got some special atmosphere, I think. It's the same in Spain.
But english cities (especially the old ones) are great, too ^^

I've not been to Lake Garda, is that in the North? And oh lord THE ICECREAM it was soooo lovely! And I know what you mean β₯ We were wandering on Capri and it just felt like a fairytale (with all the same shops) with really narrow roads and the italian architecture. Guh β₯
Yeah, England is win XD I am slightly biased... But Germany is very beautiful as well! I've not been up North, but Bavaria is so colourful β₯

have you ever been to Liverpool? that reminded me a lot of Berlin
Lake Garda is situated in Northern Italy (that's what wikipedia says ^^'' so - where are all the lovely photos? I would love to see them I'm sure you made some.
I think later I will have to search for my old pictures of my Italy journey...

No, sadly, although my step-dad tried to explain it to me just now XD
Wikipedia is awesome! And I took loads, but they aren't really "arty" enough to up here I don't think D: But I'll have another look through them and post a link to all of them when I upload them to the internet! And yes please XD

Liverpool AND Berlin have got a lot of building sites and it's very loud and crowded. But at the same time you have some very beautiful bulidings. It's hard to explain, I just got the same feeling ^^
You can also use your srap-gallery

^^ In the last days after seeing all these pictures again I'm very often thinking about backpacktripping trough ireland for one month after I finished school. Everytime I think about the people I would meet, the places I could visit and all the pictures I could take I feel like going right now There is so much left in the world I didn't see and will most likely never see...

Backpacking through Ireland would be amazing! I read a book about a man who did that, although he had a fridge for some reason! You should certainly go for it - you only live once I feel like that sometimes and then the teachers give me more exams and homework and I have to put it off again! One day I will go XD

XD It was a very good book - it's called "Round Ireland with a Fridge" by Tony Hawks
It captures Ireland beautifully!
