it's been a long time, longer still in the waxes and wanes of inspiration, addiction and ambition. i hope this finds you in both good health and solid mind, for, you are deserved of such things... like everyone else, i have my good days, and bear my share of the bad. and it is within the confines of the latter i write this. for i found a note amidst a collection of notes, February 25th 2007 it has been years since i actively used DA, and having one of "those" 2am's a certain level of nostalgia was required. i waded through a full 13 of the 17 pages of notes i had acquired, they are quite addicting, little literary poloroids, showing part of a bigger picture. but it was this one note, my interaction with you that reminded me of the face behind the screen. it was both the name and the memory of dying sunflowers. i think for a brief moment, i remembered what it meant to love art. i now work in a sandwich shop, i kept buying photographic equipment, and i've spent nearly £2,300 since i last took anyting i was proud of... outside of my 40hour week, art became functional... i'll let you think that phrase over as i leave you with this, i dont see myself chasing the dream of old, but for a brief moment, when i read your words and reminisced, i think i did. if even for a moment. i'd love to see a gallery of your work again, i've seen so many pictures, i dont find art in them anymore.
