i can't go, i'm just 15...but i have a plan...my family is vacating to Mexico and on the way back here I'm going to get meself a plane ticket to Oz! (up in the sky, defying gravity) well...i'll warn my parents about 5 minutes beforehand, and I'm good at taking care of myself!! I'm having an Australia moment and right now i'm so bored with America

wel...i m now in india..but i m plannin for comin in australia..in melbourne..for higher studies there..
so for part time...as u r living there..u might be knowin..some place..where sketchin n digital works r needed ...
wel....if u dont know..its ok..

but..incase u do...plz do this much lil stuff....when u free
n not busy

Hi there,

well if you're coming to Australia, melbourne is definately the best place to be for art stuff. I don't know of any places off the top of my head (I'm moving to Melbourne next year) but I would definately suggest having a look at AGDA (www.agda.com.au) which lists a lot of graphic design studios and jobs that come up. You could even list yourself as looking for work as an artist.

At the moment, not many people are hiring in Australia because it's just before Christmas, but there should be more available in the new year. Also, the university you're going to might be able to help you find places that are looking for part-timers.

Also, if you're interested in anime, check out Manifest (www.manifest.org.au) the Melbourne anime convention. You might be able to network some jobs, or enter some competitions with your art.

Hope that helped a bit, sorry I couldn't give you any definate answers.
