I see one underlying thing you did that is affecting everything else in the head. (Not going to get into anatomy on the body this time. Fix fundamental problems first, and worry about book learnin' shit later.)

You drew the face before you drew the head. Try not to do that. Draw the head and body, then go in and add the face and hair. This will force you to make sure the hair comes out of the head, rather than clip it off. Making sure there is a forehead will help you place the hairline. (Which makes drawing bangs and other various styles a lot more natural looking.)

In the image, you'll see I also lined up the mouth with the rest of the face. You have a 3/4 turn, but that doesn't follow in the mouth.

The only change I made was drawing the whole head. That adjusted the hairline and allowed the face to be lined up. I didn't move any features and look at the difference it makes.

thank you very much. i did draw the head first then the face then the hair, i just tend to favor a smaller forehead but ill have to work on that since you say it looks wrong. i didnt notice the mouth looked off until you said something, i guess thats what i get for only looking at mouths from straight on.

thank you very much for taking the time to help me (: i think ill have to try drawing more people with their hair up so i can see and try out hairlines more often so i can get things to look like ive lined them up properly

Draw another headshot and show me. No color or anything. Something quick and loose. I want to see what you're saying. While you say you draw the head, I don't think you are. I don't think you're lying either, so we must be having a small communication problem. I'm thinking I didn't explain well enough.

Just draw the head and hair actually. Don't erase anything. Leave all the lines in so I can see them.

If you don't mind of course. I'd prefer to see you move past this kind of issue and never make the same mistake twice. :) (Smile)

Works for me. I'm hella busy working on some character designs (still a beginner on that) and I have to do some critique videos once I get the stuff in from everyone. I'd tear out my hair, but I don't have any. Besides the pubs and those stay where they are.
