# About me

I am a mostly self taught artist whose focus is primarily geared towards the fantasy genre. I strive in my art to create a stylized version of my own ideal of beauty. My artwork tends to be soft both in form and colour when I choose to use it. I am methodical in my process, though I am trying to break some from that as I realize it can be limiting. I work primarily in pencils, oil paint, pens and permanent markers. I am still learning and I hope over time to be able to more clearly realize what I see in my head.

Wow, that is impressive dedication and it certainly shows in his development. My own character comes from a story I've been working on for somewhere near 12 years, though at the rate I'm going, it will be 25 years before her story is ever finished. It's nice to meet someone with the same passion for their own story. :) (Smile)

Hmm,it sounds like we have a common link!
I am sure you'll get there if you're working consistently. I may be 25 years with the story but it was on and off. I was 14 when I started so the writing,story and character development has come a long way!

Martin was very much a Mary Sue when he was created. He's a lot better now! Thank you for noticing!
And passion will take you a long way I am sure.

Yeah, my writing has also been on and off and my character was also started around the same age. I kind of think that any writing done at that age will tend to lean towards a Mary Sue type characterization. (I know mine did!) So definitely a lot in common! :) (Smile)
